Chapter 7 Mr. Big

Alice (Pov)

I glanced at Nick to confirm what Judy had said and although it looked like he was trying to hide it you could see some sadness in his eyes.

"Well if I can't go to your home where can I go?"

I had just met them and they were nice to me, Judy was even thinking about how I would fair at her home, I didn't want to leave them. They were pondering for a bit when suddenly Judy's eyes lit up.

"I know of one mammal that would probably take you in and has the proper facilities for a mammal of your size."

"Who? I can't think of any" said Nick.

"Mr. Big"

Nick's eyes went dead for a second then,

"Are you insane!!"

"Why not"

"Well for one he hates me and two he's the head of the mafia." That confused me for a second, Judy looked so innocent how could she be related to the mob.

"Come on Nick we can't show her to the public if the new's got wind that there was a living S̄eụ̄xdả, she would immediately be caught, contained and be experimented on."

Nick opened his mouth to say something glanced at me and then sighed.

"Your right I didn't think about that."

"Um, who's Mr. Big? And if you think I'm gonna be captured you are sorely mistaken," growling at the end.

Nick and Judy were shivering as I stared at them.

"What!?"

"Som...Some of your fur lit up like it was on fire and your eyes looked like they were burning embers, and yes Mr. Big is head of the mob but I'm also his goddaughter" said Judy.

"Oh ok...I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't know that would happen."

"It's ok, but Judy is right we do need to hide you before anybody takes note of a 10ft tall Pantheress with wings. We can head back to the barn and make a plan there, ok."

I nodded Nick was right if what Judy was saying is true which I'm sure it is I have to get out of sight.

"Ok I'll meet you there" and with that, I took off sometimes hovering over the road to get there faster, and within seconds I was in the building barreling into a giant stack of hay bales.

"Dammit, I really need to work on my landings," Just glad it wasn't a grove of trees this time that was embarrassing.

Judy (Pov)

"Nick go back to the Burrow and tell my parents that we got called back in, and pack our stuff up, I'm gonna call Mr. Big"

"Ok, I'm gonna take the truck so you'll have to walk back to the barn."

I just nodded as he drove off.

I started walking to the barn as I called Fru-Fru,

"Ring-ring-ring, Hi Judy this is unexpected how are you, how's your trip?"

"It's had an unexpected turn to it, can I talk to your father please"

"Of course are you ok, do you need help?"

"Yes, and hopefully your dad can help us."

I waited patiently as Koslov carried Fru-Fru to Mr. Big.

"Judy my child, I'm told you need my help?" Mr. Big said with a questioning gaze.

"Yes, I was wondering if you would be able to house a friend of mine, she… she is special and cant be seen by the news or police"

He raised his eyebrows at this.

"My child, what have you gotten into that you need to smuggle someone into the city, you yourself are an officer of the law?"

"Please. I said I would help her, she has nowhere else to go."

"Of course I will help your friend but if you are to do this, do it at night time, and tell Nicky to come as well I wish to speak with him."

"Ok, thank you so much. Nick will be with us I promise." (As he was heading back to Judy he felt a shiver go down his spine.)
