Episode 15 ...

Scarlet gazed down at the floating island that was almost ruined to pieces when the dragon crashed into it. The force of that kick must be tremendous for it to be able to make a gigantic beast like a dragon fly away like that.

The woman with silver hair is obviously strong... insanely strong. Because that kick made Scarlet shiver inside her skin like goosebumps.

If a person without magic were to receive such a powerful kick- the unfortunate lad would obviously be blown into little bits by now without realizing his death. Good thing it was aimed at the white dragon and not her. If that kick was aimed at her she would've been dead. Like really really dead.

Looking at the place where the white dragon landed again, Scarlet wondered, is the Dragon still alive or is it already dead? She looked at the island and waited a little bit. She had a feeling that the white dragon would move and stand up. But there was no movement whatsoever. Only the uneasiness inside her chest was there. So she tapped Jasper's little shoulder.

"Jasper, the dragon..." she asked, her eyes still looking out for the dragon to gain its consciousness.

Seeing how worried she was, he answered, "It's not dead yet."

Scarlet looked at him. "Are you sure?" She asked and it was not a difficult question to answer for Jasper to answer.

"Dragons are very hard to kill. A mere kick will not end its life but it can knock it unconscious for a period of time." he continued, turning to look at the place where the dragon was, "The beast will wake up again." He said, grabbing her arm with his little hands, his expression gravely serious, "And we have to leave before that happens."

Suddenly, feeling a surge of magical power coming from above him. Jasper looked up, his eyes narrowing into slits. There, he saw a portal above him.

The portal grew bigger and bigger until six figures came out of it. The first guy he saw was a tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Jasper took a defensive stance, hiding Scarlet behind him even though his small stature wasn't able to hide her entire upper body, but still he did it because it was an unconscious act of protecting his woman.

The first one to walked out of the portal was Eigeel and behind him- the members of the Scarlet Order followed.

"Stand behind me." Jasper flashed a glare at the new arrivals like a guardian beast. He doesn't know who these people are or what they're doing at the 3rd level of the dark dimension. But one thing is for sure, he will protect Scarlet from them if they ever try to harm her.

While Jasper was thinking of a plan to escape bringing Scarlet along with him unscathed- Eigeel's sky blue eyes searched for Scarlet. Afterwards, his eyes settled on a little boy and beside him a beautiful woman who looked exactly like Scarlet stood.

Eigeel frozen on his spot. "What- How... How is this possible?" The woman... looked exactly the same when Scarlet shrunk into a little girl and went to sleep 500 years ago. Could she be... Before Eigeel could open his mouth to inquire if the beautiful woman was Scarlet herself but his sister Eireen run past him and shouted with her hands in the air.

"Thanks the Gods!" She hugged Scarlet, tight, pushing aside the annoyed little Jasper who felt that she was monopolizing his bride. The little lord frowned.

"Thank the Gods you're still alive." Eireen repeated, finally breathing out in relief.

Scarlet couldn't utter a word because Eireen was squeezing her, really, really hard. She honestly felt a little sorry for making them worry though, especially Eireen. The woman was obviously scared to death for her safety judging how much her body was shaking while hugging her.

Scarlet saw Eigeel looking at them so she asked, "How did you find me? I thought I was going to be dragon food a while ago. Good thing you guys came just in time."

So, it really her... Eigeel immediately kneeled in front of her, "We used the soul binding spell to find you, My queen. I apologize for taking so long."

"I see. Then that's okay. I understand you went to great length to rescue me from thsi place." Scarlet gave Eigeel a nod before reached for Eireen's head to comfort her. "You did a good job too, Eireen..."

Feeling all of her emotions clashing together with those words, tears started rolled out of Eireen's eyes like a water fall and she started crying her eyes out. "Waaaah!"

Scarlet sighed, turning to the others who were standing behind Eigeel while watching Eireen bowling in her arms.

"You guys saved me. Thank you." she said, then gave a grateful nod towards the Silver haired woman. "Especially, you Silver."

Silver's eyes immediately lit. The queen remembered her, and thanked her!

"It's an honour to save you, your majesty. I'm glad your safe." she politely said, even though the emotions inside her was in chaotic happiness. This is the first time she ever saw Scarlet up close before she went to sleep for 500 years. The happiness of being acknowledged by her Queen after a long time was warming her chest with so much admiration.

Silver truly missed this feeling- the feeling of pleasing her master.

"Squeeeee!" Out of nowhere, a crimson nine tailed fox that was as small as a little cat suddenly jumped on Scarlet's left shoulder.

She flinched in surprise after noticing a furry little creature on her shoulder. But she didn't brush the little guy off. She let him affectionately rub his furry little head against hers.

Looking at the queen sandwiched by Red and Eireen, the puzzled Aqua confronted Eigeel and asked in a low voice, "Didn't you say the queen lost almost all of her magic powers from the war?"

"I know," Eigeel answered, his blue eyes lighting up like a bulb, activating his ability to see magical energies within a person's body.

Eigeel scanned Scarlet energy channel and saw every vein in her body working just fine. Each of them was directly linked to the core in her stomach. This core is where the magical energy of a person lies.

A person's core acts like a battery and Scarlet's core had already been completely full which is an unexpected event. Her magic energy have already recovered.

Eigeel thought that maybe that explains why Scarlet's physical appearance was back to its normal state. She doesn't look like a child anymore.

Magic energy and life energy are almost one and the same in this world. When you've lost a lot of your magical powers, you will be forced to use your life's energy to perform a spell.

During his scan, Eigeel also noticed something different...

Hello guys!

I am so very very very sorry for the super late update. I was so tired from the national summit that I attended so I wasn't able to go back to writing again.

I really hope this new update of mine is okay and I will be releasing a new update tomorrow once again and the following days like I used to!
