The next day, Delta City was shaken by disturbing news of the death of ten people. What made this news explosive is the fact that the youngest son of Du Liang, one of the most influential people in the business world of Delta city, was one of those who died.

It is said from the authorities' investigation that five gangsters may have some previous scruple with Bart Liang and because of this, the fight happened. Although Bart Liang was able to use his gun to kill the five gangsters, they were still able to stab him, ending both parties dying.

Meanwhile, as this is happening, Joe Wang is once again back in school and sitting inside the classroom reading his textbook.

He found that some of the contents of the book are truly interesting, hence he indulges himself in reading.

Suddenly a person walked beside him at an unknown time and stood on the side watching Joe Wang reading.

Joe Wang noticed the low chattering voices in the room and with his hearing he heard that a girl is standing beside him.

Because he was too engrossed in reading the chemistry book he didn't know that someone is actually watching him. So he slowly put the book down and turns his gaze towards the young woman standing beside him. It seems that she is also looking at the book because when Joe Wang put it down she seems startled.

However, when Joe Wang saw the young woman his memory of her seems to just flow naturally into his mind and a faint smile appears on his face.

"Memei?! You're Memei Yi, right?" Joe Wang asked a little unsure.

His words made her show a blooming smile in her beautiful face. Seeing Joe Wang once again made her feel that he became too handsome suddenly after a few years of not seeing each other.

Well, this can't be blamed on her, because even Joe Wang's classmates found that he seems to have changed after the school vacation. Even Jean Xi was too confused at his current appearance. However, her mind is still full of suspicion. She knew what truly happened to Joe Wang that night, she knew that he was already half dead. Joe Wang and Memei Yi are neighbors before and they grew up together. In her mind, he is the hero who would always save her when she got bullied, the guy who would stand for her, her dashing prince.

The two talked for a while and shared some stories. Joe Wang has the old memories of the old Joe Wang so he is comfortable talking with the girl. Plus there is actually a reason why he wanted to befriend this young woman.

Then she calmly walked towards a seat in front of Joe Wang, since it is still vacant.

The teacher stood on the rostrum and told them about an alarming accident that happened yesterday. He advised everyone and reminded them to be careful of the bad elements outside. Joe Wang who was the culprit didn't bother with this.

The class was about to start when suddenly a figure dashes as quickly as he could and quickly sat beside Joe Wang.

The teacher saw this but just shook his head in disappointment, upon seeing the panting Tai Hong. But he didn't reprimand Tai Hong and just start the lesson.

Tai Hong who just seated immediately noticed a beautiful young woman with a cute pixie cut sitting in the front seat of Joe Wang.

Seeing her looks and the way she carried herself, he felt his heart suddenly skipped a beat. He didn't expect to see a woman as dashing as her. Her unique beauty and charisma are like an attractive magnet which drew his heart closer.

"Wow…" he muttered absentmindedly.

"Hey, Joe. Do you know her? She introduced her name a while ago, right?" Tai Hong asked as he drew closer to Joe Wang.

Memei Yi heard him talking to Joe Wang so she turns around and looks at them.

When Tai Hong saw her face clearly, he was truly dumbstruck. He was stunned at her stunning look. She was like a blue-eyed angel from the heavens.

"Oh my lord, an angel." Tai Hong muttered under his breath.

Joe Wang and Memei Yi both snickered. Memei Yi teased Tai Hong further by winking at him, which made him immediately fall from his seat with a bang.

This woke him from his stupor and quickly got up while bowing towards the rest of the students awkwardly. But then his eyes turned towards Memei Yi after he got seated back, and went on a dazed for the whole class period.

Joe Wang just shook his head and continues reading another book. This time, he is looking at a Math textbook. As an artificer, this knowledge was grounded deep within his soul by his master. But since he is not that interested in math he neglected a lot of this knowledge. Hence his progress at that time was a bit slow in making artifacts.

But now after reading for a while his interest was piqued, he decided to go to the library after class and read more. This way he can clearly understand and consolidate his previous knowledge and understanding.

When the bell rang, Memei Yi immediately turns around and look at Joe Wang.

Then she pouted upon seeing him still reading.

"Hey, Joe. Let's eat lunch together. I made a lot for today… I thought to spend time with a new friend, but I never expected to see you. So I'm so happy!" she said with a smile while showing her big lunch box.
