Aeternum First Flight Test.

"Get the productions going at once…make sure to follow everything in the manual....Has the enchanter already worked on the Enchantment on the Airship Engine compartment?..".

Yes, it doesn't happen, for some unavoidable matter. Elijah had to work and so is me, Since the material for the air balloon already obtained the whole production factory was focused on processing the materials. I can't wait to see my magical Airship flying in the sky, it won't be too long before it's happening, so I watching over the whole thing myself and supervise the first build myself.

"Yes, Sir…..the next step is to just attach the balloon and the body…". (Cheif Engineer Mikayla)

The one who's responsible for this project is Chief Engineer Mikayla, One of Andrea's staff's most promising leaders, in her records she was a low-level mage that was put in slavery after being framed by his colleague when a magic experiment went wrong. She then ended up getting bought by me/Aeternum and now she was a C1 civilian with full dedication to the Resource department.

"Good..continue…".

Usually having your big boss on the field made you nervous, but in here, The worker's spirits were off the top, delighted to see me in the crowd looking at them.

The Engineers and the worker working together to install the newly made Leather Balloon to the deck which they did successfully. Then suing a Magic, the engineers start to inflate the balloons, the excitement was getting at an all-time high as everyone sees that the balloon was slowly full. Then finally, the Airship slowly hovers from the ground, the whole crowd goes wild. Everyone was clapping and cheering for it, even I can't help but smiling finally what I environs has come through.

"Chief Mikayla…Commence the flight check….".

I walk back to the Engineer room where the temporary control center was in place. The Airship was drag outside from the factory hangar and docked out in the open.

"Understood Sir…attentions to the designated captains and flight crew…get ready for the flight test…Staff fills the storage compartment with weight..". (Chief Engineer Mikayla)

Using an intercom the whole hangar starts to works again. All the flight crew that will handle this flight test were all Demi-Human from the Bird race, especially picked for their ability to fly in case of an unexpected accident that might happen, at least they will be able to save themselves.

Before the Airships fly, we spend a good few hours to test other aspects of the Airships, Durability test, system check, weight test, everything that can be done on the ground was carefully done, Seeing that everything is finally ready I told the Broadcasting department to broadcast the first flight in a live radio broadcast. With everything ready, Finally, the flight test was commencing.

"Control, this is Airship 01..all system is green..requesting lift off…". (Airship Captain)

Radio communication's from the airship sounded in the room.

"Airship 01..this is Control, you are free to go…Best of luck Captain..". (Cheif Engineer Mikayla)

"Thank you Control…Airship 01 lifting off…I see you guys in a bit...".

As the radio communications were cut, we all see the Airship 01 was slowly ascending to the sky. Everyone runs to the outside to see it, I'm still in the Engineer room with every Engineer, monitoring closely on the Airship progress. Just like in the space control program, everyone was tense in this room. Everything is quiet, even when the Airships finally arrive at the flying altitudes, when the Airships started to move according to the flight route without any problem, everyone was still focused on their monitors, checking everything. Then one hour later, the Airship who's been going around all over Aeternum was finally arrived at the Hangar and slowly descended to the ground.

"Control, This is Airship 01…landing confirm..all system normal….no complications found, everything is well and intact...All crew prepared to unload the ships..". (Airship Captain)

The Airship 01 has docked and all its crew finally exit's the Airship and together with the waiting crowd they celebrated.

"Sir..congratulations..the test is successful…Aeternum has finally conquered the Sky…<CLAP!!>..". (Chief Engineer Mikayla)

With everything finally settled, she comes to me and bows then shake my hand to congratulates me.

"I believe..this is all a teamwork effort to make this a reality…this is the achievement that all Aeternumians should be proud of....This day will forever be etched in our history book and be remembered for all eternity..with a grateful heart, I named this Airship as The Sky Maiden...<CLAP!!>..".

With my somewhat improvised line ended, I applause and it was followed by everyone in the room and outside. It was a historical moment for me and Aeternum as a whole. With the broadcast, I'm sure that everyone who heard it will know the fact that once again Aeternum has made a giant leap and celebrations was in place.

This giant achievement was witnessed all over Aeternum and the other countries as it was broadcast all over the radios. The New City, as well as the country bordering Aeternum also witnessing when the Airship was circling Aeternum air space and it can be seen from their border wall. Everyone in Aeternum was celebrating the occasion, as for the neighboring countries, some fells delight some felt threatens. Still despite the great occasion, The Hangar was in works as there's a lot of tests that need to be done before we can finally use it in the fields.
