"A broken family relationship could cause many terrible side effect to the children. Sometimes the children would grow up to be rebellious, an act they would do to protect themselves from harm as they have grown in a situation where violence is normalized. Sometimes children would became tied up to their trauma, having a sense to be obsessed with the things around them to gain approval as they had never been able to achieve love from others."

Wu SuYi watched the Tv, hearing the physiatrist's words carefully and study them in silence. 

She wondered if JingYi, HaoRan, and herself was one of those examples. 

She sighed, after talking to JingYi, all she felt was a sense of guilt. She couldn't believe that JingYi would do anything to protect his siblings, even if it means he would die for it. 

That sense of responsibility was a double edged sword that would kill him, making her worried.
