His phone rang.
He swallowed hard as he looked at the caller ID. He didn't want to answer it.
But he had no choice.
"Hello" he said quietly as he closed his eyes, expecting the worst to come.
"Do you have the Data now?" the deep voice that haunted his dreams spoke.
With a trembling hand, he answered with a firm voice, "Not yet. Give me just a little more time. I'm almost-"
"I told you already," the person on the other end of the line cut him off. His voice was calm, but so cold that it could make even the toughest person shiver in fear. "You kept on asking for more time. I already told you that it was your last chance, right? Since you are unable to get the Data, I'll be the one to get it from Park Jimin then."
His hand was not trembling anymore as a tear fell from his eyes and gripped his phone tightly.
He utterly fucked up.
The voice from the other end of the line spoke again, reliving every nightmare that he had.
"Even if it means kidnapping and inflicting pain on the damn kid."
