Food in memory

Yoon Gi's POV

Nothing could express how happy I was when Lilac really came. I didn't realize that the tendency to care for her is always there even if now we don't really act like a couple because of her memory lost. I don't want her to find that I acted indifferently towards her when she got her memory back. After lunch, everyone gathered at the living room for the discussion.

"So, Lilac how do you think we should deal with her?" I asked. 

"Well for me if she had really done that to me. Of course I wouldn't be able to forgive her and I want to throw her and Hazel into jail for harming me. But is this a terrible crime?" Lilac asked. 

"Not really because they are not harming your life. The worst is that they would just be in prison for a few months." I said. 

"But if you leave it to us then it will be a different case. We have a base just for people like them." Nam Joon stated. 

"Lilac it doesn't matter what your decision is because now we haven't had any solid evidence about what is really going on. We need your cooperation to tear down their mask." Ho Seok said. 

"What do you all want me to do?" Lilac asked. 

"So, by next week she would be here right?" Nam Joon asked. 

"Yeah." Lilac replied. 

"The plan is like this. We are very sure she's going to give you the second dose of the medicine to make sure that your memory doesn't return. She needs to constantly give you the medicine because each time she gives you the medicine, the effect of the medicine only lasts for 3 months. We are not sure whether the medicine is in her hand or Hazel's. Seok Jin hyung had already asked Hanuel to search for it in Hazel's room but she can't go in to the room since Hazel is always at home. The first step we need you to ask Hazel out to let Hanuel to go into the room to search for that medicine." Nam Joon explained. 

"When should I ask Hazel out?" Lilac asked. 

"By this week." Nam Joon said. 

"Sure." Lilac said. 

"But you must make sure that she wouldn't suspect you." I said. 

"Ok." Lilac said. 

"So that's for now." I said. 

"Hyung, we still need to make sure that their father is not at home." Jimin said. 

"Ok. Ho Seok and Nam Joon, this is your job." I said. 

"Sure hyung. It's an easy one." Nam Joon said. 

"So should we just end it here. Lilac can I speak to you privately for a moment? After that, I'll send you home." I said. 

"Sure." Lilac said. 

"Let's go to the balcony." I said. 

She followed me to the balcony and the both of us stood at the balcony not knowing what to say first. My feelings were really complicated at the moment because I just want to hug her and tell her how much I miss her after not seeing her for one week but I stop myself from doing so. Now she doesn't have much memory of us being together so I couldn't force myself on her and trying to force her to remember me.

"Umm.. Lilac you see when you texted Seok Jin hyung the other day. How much do you actually remember?" I asked. 

"Well not much actually. I have fragments of memories but not the whole memory." Lilac said. 

"Oh." I said feeling kind of disappointed.

"I'm sorry Yoon Gi. I really want to remember you but nothing goes my way. Trust me I really want to remember you." Lilac said.

"I know Lilac. It's not easy for you. I don't want you to force yourself either to remember." I said. 

"You can come and visit me if you want. I want to remember you." Lilac said.

I was overwhelmed by the sudden happiness when she said those words. At that moment, I almost couldn't answer her. 

"I… Sure." I said. 

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Lilac asked. 

"Nothing. Let me send you home." I said. 

"Actually I can go back on my own. Just send me until the guard post." Lilac said. 

"It's ok. I can send you until you're back to your house. Moreover I have nothing to do anyway." I said hoping that she would agree to it. I just want to spend more time with her. 

"Ok if it doesn't bother you. I don't mind." Lilac said. 

I was jumping internally when she said ok. I took my car keys from the basket on the shoe rack.

"Come let's go." I said to Lilac. 

She didn't answer but just followed me. As I was driving her home, I saw the kimbap store that she likes. 

"Lilac wait for me here." I said and ran out of the car go towards the line. 

I was eagerly waiting in the line without wearing my mask. Luckily at that time there was only an elderly couple standing in front of me. I look around to see if there's any paparazzi or fans lingering around. I shouldn't have been so careless. When the elderly couple is done, I quickly buy the kimbap and ran to the car. I was catching my breath in the car when Lilac look at me weirdly.
