BAG OF FLEES!

Just another new day. Lupe woke up satisfied with the previous night interview. She smiled while she thought about it and how successful it was.

As usual, she dashed out of the bed and ran towards her bathroom. Brushed her teeth and had a quick shower. She then went to her closet a chose a dark pair of jeans and a black blouse. She had purposed to wear smart-casual.

In hurry, she ran towards Paco's and Gypsy's room and found Cess there helping them brush their teeth.

"There they are my two monkeys!"

"Mummy!" they said in unison excited to see their mother.

Lupe knealt and gave them one big embrace. Her days were always made when she sees her children. They were her reason for living.

She helped the kids with their morning routine and then they all went to the dining table to take breakfast together.

The kids had cereals with milk while Cess and Lupe had coffee and sandwiches.

"Mummy, will you be late to come home today?" Gypsy asked.

"Nope. I'll be early. Why?"

"Can we watch a movie together?"

"Sure. Which one?"

"Frozen," Gypsy said excitedly.

"Frozen is so girlie...," Paco retorted

"Speak for yourself big guy. I chose first. It was my idea" Gypsy told her brother.

"But I'm older...," Paco said.

"Yeah with only four minutes,"

"I saw a lot of things in those four minutes..."

The kids started bickering among themselves. Cess and Lupe just watched.

"Kids," Cess intervened but they did not hear her.

"Kids!" this she raised her voice and her tone was firm.

The kids stopped bickering and looked at Cess.

"Since your mum is the guest, why can't she choose the movie to watch? she asked looking intently at the kids.

" Mummy," Paco looked at his mum.

Lupe took her tablet and started browsing the internet to see which animated movie was to be aired.

"Hmm.. how about Dumbo?" she said showing a picture of Dumbo to the kids and waiting for their reaction.

'Sigh'

"Okay mummy," the kids agreed in unison.

"Perfect. Now let me go to work now so that I can come back early," Lupe said as she stood up and gave the kids a kiss and the hugged Cess.

"Be good kids,"

"Okay mummy,"

"Take care Cess,"

"You to Ms. Lupe,"

With that, Lupe left.

In the office, everyone was busy but still discussing the interview and the huge success it had.

"Did you see his face when Lupe pointed out that the country was poor,"

"Haha I'm sure he has a lot to explain to the president,"

"I could bet I saw him sweating when he was asked why they hadn't paid the land owners before they started drilling oil,"

"Or why the ministry is suggesting to increase the tax rates,"

Lupe walked in and greeted everyone. Jackie stood up and started following Lupe to her office.

"Jackie did you handle the tiny problem we had?" Lupe asked as they closed the office door.

"Ummm, we have a problem..." Jackie said.

Lupe put down her bag on her desk and looked at Jackie.

"Open the Yonda account and see for yourself,"

Lupe opened the Yonda account and saw the status that was trending.

"XANDER INC REPRESENTED BY SIR YOUNG XANDER, TO HAVE A SEAT DOWN WITH NONE OTHER BUT OUR FAVOURITE THE QUEEN OF INTERVIEWS LUPE GUS IN A FORT NIGHT. BE SURE YOU DON'T MISS AND KEEP YOURSELF ENTERTAINED BY THE CITIZEN BROADCASTING CCORPORATION."

Feeling cornered, Lupe's face turned red. She felt her blood boiling.

She screamed and threw everything that was on her desk.

"Curse you,you bag of flees!"
