"Mike and me met way back during our school days. He was an innocent guy who had a crush on me. I wasn't interested in dating anyone at that point of time and I simply ignored his feelings. Well to be honest, he never asked me out nor confessed so I didn't take it seriously."

Ray chuckled seeing her expression.

Elsa continued," But then, my friends kind of liked him.They were always pushing me to date him telling he really loves you and he's being sincere ."

Elsa looked at Ray and said," I never knew what is love at that time. So, I didn't know that love is something which should happen before or after in a relationship.I didn't know him well so i wasn't bothered about it. I just wanted to go with the flow.

My friends knew me well so they started telling me about him and then he started talking to me a little.. "

Ray listened to her calmly without interuppting her.

Elsa chuckled ," Don't ask me why or how I agreed? To be honest, I don't know why I agreed. I think it might be because I didn't want him to be sad or might be because he was an innocent guy. "

" Anyway, that's how we started dating. We dated for three years which was kind of long.. Don't you think?" Elsa asked him.

Ray nodded his head a little and then shook it too. He had a smile on his face when he heard her question.He asked, " Then, what happened?"

" Well ..things changed when we started our 2nd yr. I couldn't meet him much during that period and he met a new girl in his Maths class. They got more close that everyone started gossiping about them . That's how i came to know about it. "

" Later, I joined Chemistry class in which there were people who was in his class too. They were shocked when they came to know that I was Mike's girlfriend."

They were like," He goes around with an another girl all the time. "

And she said, " Yeah... They are friends. " But when she saw their faces, she knew that something was wrong. If it was just one person, she could have ignored but then it was like a group of people telling me.

Nevertheless, she still ignored them and decided to trust him. One day, when they were hanging out and as Mike went to order a coffee for them. She was going through his gallery when she saw some photos of him with an another girl.

That girl had her hand on his shoulder and her chest leaning against him. When Mike came to her with her coffee, he saw the photo and suddenly grabbed his phone back.

Elsa asked him," Aren't you going to explain that?" while she pointed at his phone.

Mike looked at her and asked," What's there to explain? Its just friends taking photos. "

" I don't understand.. Do you take me as a fool? Are you really asking me to believe that? " Elsa asked ridiculously.

Mike just kept his silence. When Elsa couldn't take it anymore, she raised her voice and asked ," Are you fucking telling me that you guys are just friends? You guys met at night didn't you? Didn't you have class at that time? What's with her hand over your shoulder? and Why the fuck didn't you tell me about this small hang out?"

She bombarded him with all these questions at one go and sat down as she was embarassed that many people were paying attention at them.

She glared when she heard Mike laugh," Are you jealous? "

" Seriously... That's what you think after all I said. " Elsa just couldn't believe him.

"Well.. Don't you trust me? This just shows that you don't trust me." Mike shrugged.

Elsa just stared at him. Trust! He's asking for trust. When everyone told me about what they did during class, she still believed him..But now, she doesn't know what to believe.

Elsa just stood up and said," I don't want this kind of thing to happen twice and since you asked for trust. I'm giving you the benefit of doubt. " and left without hearing his reply.

Elsa was telling Ray all this while she was lost in her past. She couldn't see how much anger Ray hid in his eyes. He didn't ask her to continue, just waited for her to continue.

Soon... There came a time when his close friend confessed that Mike went to her house once and didn't want Elsa to be cheated upon. That was the final thing for her before she decided to break things off with him. She didn't even want to check with him whether it was true.

She didn't tell him anything when he decided to join her classes when he could easily join Elsa's. She didn't want to turn a blindeye anymore.

Enough was enough.

She broke up with him later but before that , Gwen shouted at that girl many times through Elsa's phone. When Mike came to know about it, he directly asked Elsa to apologise to her and ignored other texts she had sent.

That's when Elsa realised what she did all along was futile. She broke up and ignored him for one week. Elsa was hurt as she did have a three year relation with that dumbass and she couldn't believe how much Mike changed over the years. She didn't know whether it was love but three years together was bound to develop some feelings within her.

After one week, Mike came back to her when he realised that Elsa was serious and apologised. She thought, ' What's the use now? When she gave him a chance, he gave importance to someone else. He let someone else come in between them. She was done being the one doing all the things. She didn't want to be taken granted. '

Elsa sighed after she told him everything. Ray looked at her for sometime and asked," Do you want me to kick his ass? "

Elsa laughed and shook his head." No... The way we broke up was enough for me. You know he regretted losing me a lot, he came each day to apologize and begged to give him a chance again. That was enough of a revenge for me. I made him regret. "

Ray narrowed his eyes at her statement.. ,"Ohh Really? He did that .. huh?"

Elsa was puzzled at his coldness," What's wrong?"

"Nothing... " Ray leaned back , closed his eyes and massaged his forehead . Suddenly he opened his eyes and looked at her," Did he ask you out recently? "

That's when Elsa figured that Ray was jealous. She chuckled and said ," No.. " She saw him breathe easily and relax a little but jumped when he heard her say," Well .. he did say he will be waiting for me to give him a chance last month.. So he must still be waiting for me to call or text him. "

Ray growled," That dumbass wants an another chance...No way in hell.. You are mine now... "

Elsa was surprised at his actions but felt quite pleased. Her heart was dancing in joy and she wanted to hug him and calm him down slowly.

"Yes .. I'm all yours baby.." Elsa smiled at him.

Ray realised at his slip of tongue and blushed. Even his ears had a tint of red and he looked everywhere except at her.

Elsa was amused at his reactions and found him cute.. She wanted to ship him away to her home, pull his cheeks every second and hug him like a teddy bear. She was surprised at her own thoughts and tried to tone it down a little. She repeated in her mind ,' Slow down Elsa... Take things slow... '

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard him ask," So that's what you wanted to say? "

" Well.. That was there .. yes.. but there's something else I wanted to tell you too. "

Ray was surprised at her nervousness.. He kept quiet and let her calm her nerves down before she said anything.He didn't know where he got his all new profound patience in him.

Elsa didn't know how to tell him and she was finding it hard to tell him as her mind was telling her ," Yes...Go on.. Say it and you can see him leave you. " While her heart argued," Come on!! He will stay...He loves her so he won't leave her just for this. "

While both parts were arguing,Ray couldn't keep his silence any longer so he asked ," So ? What's it?"

When she was interuppted from her thoughts, Elsa yapped," Well.. It was a three year long.. So .. you know.. " She stopped with that, when she saw Ray widen his eyes.

Then she realised what she said would mislead him and sure it did.
