Meeting Naomi

After some bargaining, Omega left with more materials and supplies. He then went to go for a walk in the Shinogo Woods. He was walking around when he heard a monster's roar. Something seems to be going on.. I should go check it out. Omega broke into a sprint as he headed towards the roar. As he got closer he realized it was a Great Baron's roar and that it wasn't such a threat and often decided to attack other monsters that strayed on its territory. He arrived and saw another hunter being circled by the Great Baron and Barons. The hunter had gauntlets with claws on them and was wearing a Steel set of armor. The barons leaped at the hunter as the Great Baron watched. The hunter drove the claws into the Barons. They fell bloody on the ground. The hunter then leaped at the Great Baron but was sent flying by the Great Barons tail. The Great Baron then leaped onto the fighter and bit at the hunter's armor. Omega aimed his crossbow at the Great Baron's head, and fired a crag shot that hit the Great Baron and sent it flying. He ran down to see if the hunter was ok. The hunter got up and, to Omega's surprise, was a girl. He hadn't met any other girl hunters apart from his mother. Omega asked, "Are you okay?" She looked at him and just turned and went to look at the Great Baron's dead body.

"That was my kill," She hissed.

"Wow, calm down, I was just trying to help," Omega responded.

"I was fine and I didn't need your help. I bet you're not even a hunter, huh?" She told him. "

"Well, actually I am and, oh by the way I'm Omega," Omega said as he held out his hand.

"I'm Naomi," She sighed, "I am from Poro village in the Great desert, I was heading to Shinogo village to deliver a message to the chief."

"Can I ask why?" Omega asked.

"Well, our village was attacked by the Jhen Morhan, oh and do you know where the Shinogo village is?" Naomi replied.

"Yeah, I can bring you there," Omega responded. As they walked, Naomi started to think if Omega was the hunter her father had talked about. They arrived at the village and Naomi asked who the chief was. Omega called

"Chief, there is someone expecting you."

"Who is it?" the chief asked.

"She is from the Poro village and she has a message for you." Omega replied.

"Thank you chief, for meeting me" She said.

"No need to thank me, so what is this message that Omega has told me of?" The chief asked.

"Our chief has sent for the legendary hunter that has recently arrived here." She told him.

"A hunter who wields a bow?"

"Yes, a hunter who wields a bow. Why do you ask? Has he left already?" She asked.

"No, let me present him to you. Omega please step forward," The chief said as Omega walked forward, "This is the hunter you look for."

"Thank you, Omega we must leave as soon as possible," She told him.

"Sure, I'll get ready," He responded.

He went into his home and grabbed his Deviljho armor and his Lagiacrus Bow and went to tell Naomi, who was getting a new set of armor, that he was ready. "Okay let's go now," Naomi said.

They sent off on a long and treacherous journey to Poro village. They walked through the Shinogo Woods until they reached the Shinogo Highlands. Naomi took out a whetstone and sharpened her blades. "Last time, I was here I saw a Purple Rathalos, I avoided him the first time but I think he is looking for me now."

They walked around until they heard a voice above them "You won't get far, that Jhen Morhan will ravage the Poro village and I will have no problem conquering that area..."

"Where are you? If you are so confident show yourself!" Naomi barked.

They heard a loud screech and a roar right after, then a Purple Rathalos and a Blue Rathian landed behind them and a man walked down the Blue Rathian neck.

"So eager to fight aren't we Naomi?"He said, "Oh, you have a friend with you, well at least it will be a fair fight."

"Who is he?" Omega whispered.

"Who am I, you ask? I am Jarvan III, the real leader of Poro village, but I was exiled before I was ten and her father put to death both my mother and father!"

"Jarvan, what are you going to do about it?" Naomi taunted.

"Well, these two monsters will be happy to eat you!" He yelled as he got off the two monsters and flew off with his swarm of flying monsters. The Rathalos and Rathian roared as they started their attack. A ball of flames shot out of the Rathalos' mouth as it rose to the skies. The Rathian had flame coming from her mouth before she launched a series of fireballs scorching the area around Omega and Naomi.

"You get the Rathian and I'll get the Rathalos!" She shouted as she leaped onto the Rathalos who had swooped in for an attack. Omega fired a rain of arrows hitting both the Rathian and the Rathalos, sending them to the ground. Naomi fell off the Rathalos as it crash landed.

"Good Shot," She commented as she got up.

"Sorry, the spread of the arrows was a little larger than I thought."

They started to walk on their way to the Poro village. As they arrived to the bottom of the Cloudy Hills, the temperature raised sharply and the plants started to change from a lush green to a drier and rarer.

"So we are heading into the Poro region?" Omega asked.

"Yeah, isn't it visible?" She sighed.
