Female Bodyguard

A week later, Layla grumbly take her sports car out from the basement garage. The modified black, two-seater Bugatti Chiron went fast into the road leaving the dust behind. As the fastest car, she sat calmly inside, feeling slightly distressed.

The whole week, the couple, Fred and Allen tried to coax and promised her everything she wants after the mission. Inside the contract, she only needs to protect the boy for three whole years. About the wife candidates thing, Allen promised that's only a joke from his side.

' What a disaster I brought to myself this time...' She rubbed between her eyebrows, feeling a headache from the mission.

She simply wears tight leather suits and high heels boots to perfecting her images as the most beautiful woman in the underground world. Wearing sunglasses, she left her long silky black hair without tying it. The wind from the opened window brings her some comfort for her pained heart.

" I don't have any patient in dealing with kids. I hope that boy not so bratty, or else..." She mumbled and press the gear and went fast on the road, cutting several cars in between.

Thirty minutes later, she arrived at the front of a big villa. This villa was the biggest amongst the villas in this remote city. Planetarium Asset, one of the most luxurious and expensive houses in the country.

Her car was stopped at the guard box and the guard asked to present her permission card. She pulls out a name card and the guard quickly open the gate and bow at her.

' What a beautiful lady...the pass card was from that 'person'. Is she one of the wife candidates of him? Such a lucky man...Last time, the girl was the only daughter of Brightstones's President, this time what family daughter she was from?' The guard tsked grumbly in envious at the wealthy man fortune.

Peacetime in the biggest villa called Heartfilia Mansion...

Soft sounds of cutleries against each other were heard from the dining hall. Two men sat at the opposite side of the dining table, facing each other to eat their hearty breakfast. The biggest one was a young handsome man with simple homely outfits, he sat comfortably reading the newspaper while drinking his usual milk coffee. The smaller one that sits across him is a young boy around 14 to 15 years old. He put down his meal to drink his favourite milk tea and continue scrolling down the news he read on the phone. Wearing his usual school uniform, today is his first day goes to school after three months of holiday.

Even though he was called genius by his peers, he still yearned for a normal school times like other kids in the same age. When he scrolls down the news, suddenly he remembers something important.

He looks up to the man at his opposite side of the dining table and asked,

" Uncle, when that new bodyguard of mine arrived? Is he late for his first-time job?" Evan Chang asked with some displeasured in his tones.

Across him, the man himself stopped from reading the newspaper and looked at the digital wall clock and chuckled softly.

" Don't worry, she will be here in...two minutes at most." The man grinned knowingly. Last night, Allen told him the lady agreed to become his nephew bodyguard, plus babysitter for three years. That was after Allen promises her an SS-level mission every six months as the payment or compensation for her services in three years as a bodyguard.

" Oh, I see...wait. What? She?! A female bodyguard?" Evan chocked at his drink and looked credulously at his Uncle. Adrian Chang nodded. His mood today is very good. He will soon meet his future wife!

Evan's mouth is wide open in wonder. Heavens...Am I dreaming? Did I just saw my Uncle smiled like someone looking forward to meeting his girlfriend? Wait... don't tell me the bodyguard is his girlfriend?!

" Wait, Uncle. The bodyguard is your girlfriend, right? Why I didn't hear anything about you having a girlfriend before? Then, what used Grandma looking around for single ladies to pair you up?"

Adrian chuckled, " Smart, but not yet. I do have a crush on her but never seen her in flesh. Only in the picture. Three years is enough for me to court her and marry her at the same time."

Gah! Seriously, Uncle? You're beyond helpless. Evan amusedly smiled with his thoughts. 'Well, I shall be their cupid for these two to be together and makes babies nephew and nieces for me to play with!' Evan rubbed his palm internally with some naughty and dirty beauty traps for those two. He grinned deviously, sending chills to others.
