H.A.M by Kanye West (Music Review)

Firstly written in 2011.

I'm a fan of Kanye West and I love his previous album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'. It should be put in 1001 albums You Must Listen Before You Die list. Replacing one album that I think don't deserve the place in the list. (I'm not going to name it)

I also feel it too soon for him to release a new album. If I were his manager and publicist I would insist him to embark on a tour or promote the fucking good music to the max. But he wants it that way or maybe he and Jay-Z already have a plan in their mind. (Who am I and what do I know anyway?)

As we all know, he and Jay-Z was working on a collaborative album 'Watch the Throne' for the past four, five or six month ago (I'm not really sure) and he has released the first single from the album few days ago. I've listened to H.A.M (Hard and Mutha-) and I think it is a simple and typical Kanye hip-hop production which I can enjoy while cleaning my socks (thanks to the operatic vocal he incorporated into the song). To me it is not disappointing at all. But from the comments that I read, fans found it hard to accept that song opining that it is boring and cliché (cliché?). Some find it horrible. Well, if your previous album is supergood and fierce… people usually expect a mighty good music on your next album…

It's not fair to criticize Watch the Throne based on H.A.M. maybe it is a part of their plan ;p they want you to hate him first before fall in love with him all over again….. so…. just wait for march y'all
