Nightmare

I was running in the woods. I wanted to get lost in woods to be never found. My legs were hurting, I was panting and it was hard to breathe. I have cuts on my body from branches, they hurt and burns. But I was still running, I never wanted to get caught again by that monster. That blood sucking leech. Then I heard a voice in head, "You do know how to get on someone's nerves. Don't you? STOP"

My breath hitched. That sentence made me freeze on the spot and I couldn't even take even a single step after that. I couldn't even move a single finger of mine. He was standing right in front of me and I couldn't breathe because of fear running through my veins instead of blood.

"You didn't get it do you? You can't runaway from me, you aren't allowed to. But you still tried it, since you like it outside, So you shall remain here. Enjoy." He said and disappeared. Not exactly disappear, he left in extremely fast speed that I couldn't see him. He left me in a forest full of animals alone, and I can't move because of his command. I don't know how long I'll be stuck here. As time goes by, days and nights passed. It was six or seven days since I was standing here, without food or water. At first I was afraid of all howls and animal voices about 2 days. Then I was hoping that maybe it's a way out for me if some animal found me but none came.

Now I'm hoping to die from starvation and dehydration. Maybe he has forgotten about me. But that's a good thing anything is better then him. "No dear how can I forget about you? Dying from this cause is not satisfying enough for me. But you didn't learn your lesson, YOU CAN'T GET AWAY FROM ME."

My fear heightened and my heart beat accelerated, when he appeared behind me. He took a deep whiff and inhaled as if he could smell my fear. Then he sank his fangs into me and I screamed from the pain. The memories excruciating pain and anguish made me jolt out of my sleep and I screamed. I screamed so hard it felt like it's tearing my throat. It felt so Real I thought I have gone back to that time and what happened in the past 24 hours was just a dream.

But luckily I woke up in my own bedroom and my screams brought my mother running in the room. I was still screaming and My tear were leaking out as if there is no stopping them. My mother sat on the bed and hugged me. She was consoling me, I was sobbing so hard that I didn't hear a word she said. After calming down a bit, I heard that she kept repeating, "It's just a nights honey calm down down." And I thought 'Oh Mom How I wish that it was only a nightmare. Unfortunately it wasn't, because it actually happened and it was a Memory'.

"What happened honey? Why were you so scared?" Mom asked.

"It was my first time seeing ghost today so I had a nightmare?" I lied.

"Oh dear don't worry you'll get used to them in no time just be a little patient."She said and laid down on bed while hugging me.

"Mom"

"Yeah"

"I don't want to meet supernaturals yet."

"Why?"

"You see witches are okay, other supernaturals I don't think I can handle them quite yet. So please if someone come, tell them that I'm not in my right mind since I awoken my powers." I explained.

She chuckled and replied, "Ok, I was expecting this since you got your powers you didn't ask much questions. Don't worry everyone has their own threshold, you reached yours."

"Thanks mom." I said And fell into deep slumber.
