Test of strength 2

After making sure that he will not damage his shirt badly, he stepped onto the arena. "Can we please lower the cage? I feel like an animal in here…" Anston lamented.

Kamari waved at the men to remove the caged mode. He definitely has been pampering the boy too much that he dares grumble openly in front of the subordinates! Just you wait, I will punish you later!

While waiting for the cage to be retracted down, Anston started to loosen his body by doing some stretching. Nazreen took the chance to slow down his breathing and stabilize his heart rate.

When the bell rang, both men moved at the same moment hoping to have the upper hand against their opponent. Nazreen started with a straight right jab while Anston tried to just throw a left towards his face.

Luckily, Nazreen's fist was slower, giving him the opening to parry Anston's punch with a push of his arm outwards. He then followed up with a step in and a left hook which Anston blocked with his right elbow.

With the impact, both men took a short jump away from each other and paced themselves before throwing another punch.

To be honest, Kamari was getting bored… Why are the boys playing around? Are they testing his patience? Not being able to bear with the mediocre performance, he signalled for the men to reforge the cage and power up the electric fence system.

When Anston saw the metal cage coming out from their trap door, he quickly threw Nazreen off his shadow and ran down the arena. "Lucifer! Why are you doing this to me?" He whined. Having no other choice, he quickly unbuttoned his shirt and threw his pink Gucci cotton shirt towards one of the men and walked back into the caged arena. "If I knew I had to fight, I would have left you here and run back to the office!" He chided.

Kamari's face blackened at Anston's childish words. "Do you want to be posted out again?" he asked the young man. When Anston heard his uncle, he quickly grinned cheekily and replied "No, sir!" with his hand saluting over his eyebrows.

That only made Kamari's face blacker, "Both of you better fight at full strength. If not, I will post both of you to our European base for a month!"

With that, both men in the arena became serious.

That was when Nazreen got serious and fought with Anston will full focus and determination. How could he risk being away from his wife when they were due for a long holiday that evening?

Nazreen dropped his shoulder and tightened his fist. Suddenly, Anston swung his right hand at Nazreen and Nazreen unconsciously raised a hand to block it. The impact caused his whole body to spasm in pain. It felt like his bones were about to split and his entire arm turned numb.

With his left arm incapacitated, he hardened his horse stance and stood rooted to the platform and lowered his waist, stabilising his gravity centre.

However, it wasn't enough. Anston lifted his left leg sideways and kicked Nazreen on his chest. Force so hard Nazreen was pushed back three steps.

The phrase 'there's always someone better than you' was really hitting the nail. Never would he thought he could find someone who has a better fighting skills around his age. Especially when he was one of the best hand to hand fighter in the Royal Special Force. It seems, Country C's Loh Family is stronger than what was written in the intelligence report.

Nazreen rubbed his chest with his right palm while maintaining a defensive stance with his left hand. He was coughing hard since the kick hit him hard on his pectoralis and he had difficulty breathing deeply. Every take was sharp and it felt like his lungs were being squeezed out.

Seeing Nazreen needing a break, Anston took the chance to get away from the man and walked backwards to a corner.

His face indifferent, no emotions displayed to betray him. In actual fact, Anston was scared that Hidayah would find out that he had a fight with Nazreen and if he defeated her husband badly, Hidayah might pay him back in folds…

Even though Anston was way better fighter than the twins, he had always controlled himself to allow a fair fight whenever they spar together. He didn't want the twins to feel like he would want to take over their position in the future.

To be honest, working with his grandfather and uncle was something he did for fun. It gives him purpose and fulfilment. A feeling of satisfaction beyond career success.

Suddenly, he heard his grandfather clapped his hands once and announced the end of the battle.

"Hellhound, bring Nazreen to the bay and treat him before reporting to my office. Both of you." Loh Liwei stood up and walked away from his seat towards the exit leaving the arena.

"Yes, sir!" Anston replied while standing in attention.
