"Well, you will be with…Oh…" the principal looked at the papers. "Students, please be patient, I forgot to check the room availability."
The Dexholders face-palmed. "This frickin'…" Sapphire practically leaped forward, ready to strangle the poor man in front of her.
"WHADDYA MEAN YOU FORGOT!? THIS IS GONNA TAKE A LONG TIME BECAUSE OF YOU!!!" She pulled his tie up to her nose. The Dexholders sweatdropped. "Miss, you can put me down now."
Sapphire dropped him down roughly and proceeded to dust her hands.
"So as I was saying," the principal continued, "I'll be checking the rooms now."
The man in a gray tuxedo and crimson-red tie promptly walked out of the room, his shoes making 'clacks' every step along the way.
Gold sunk down on the couch, "So… What do we do now?"
"We wait, I guess." Silver answered in an unenthusiastic voice.
Blue buried her face in her hat. "But I'm BOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRREEEEEEDDDDD!!!"
"Obnoxious Woman." Green muttered under his breath. "What did you say, Greenie~?" She lifted her hat up from her head and put the white dome on her lap. "Nawww, what a cute nickname you gave me!"
Green burst out in anger. "THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE A NICKNAME!"
"Oh, did I misunderstand? If it's not a nickname then what is it?"
"I INTENDED IT TO BE AN INSULT!"
"Awwww man. But I like being called Pesky Girl and Obnoxious Woman! Except for the fact that 'woman' makes me sound old."
"WHY YOU LITTLE!!! BITC-!!!"
"Is everything alright here?" The principal peeked through the door. "Ye-yes…" Everyone became completely petrified.
Green regained his cool and proceeded to take a seat next to Red on the violet sofa. Red chuckled, "Damn Green, you almost got caught. We would've been kicked out." He burst out in laughter. "Shut up..." Green blushed in embarrassment then looked away from his friend.
Yellow glanced at Red and Green. "Is everything alright, Red?" Red was in tears from the laughter. "Ye-yeah I'm fine Yellow… I-I CAN'T BREATHE!!!"
"O-okay if you say so."
Blue smirked, "This could be a #caught meme!"
"BLUE!!!" Green shouted, still embarrassed.
Crystal bowed down to the principal. "So, Sir, who are our roomates?"
The principal looked down on a paper full of notes and plans. "Well that's..."
Everyone looked at the man in worry and curiosity.
"Well that's," he continued, "That's up to you to decide!"
All the Dexholders cheered in happiness and excitement. There were a couple of 'hoorays' and 'yays' here and there. Red pulled Green closer to him. "Obviously, I'm with Green!"
Gold put a hand on Silver's shoulder. "Guess I'm with you then, bastard!" "No, Gold." Silver sighed. "I'd much prefer rooming with Ruby or Rald."
"Uh, Silvs, Ruby and shorty are sharing a room…" "That's correct!" Ruby patted Emerald's arm.
Silver sighed yet again, "Fine."
"Yaaaayyyyy!" Gold grinned.
Ruby turned his head to Sapphire, "So that leaves the girls."
"Yellow dear, I insist you stay with me." Blue pulled Yellow's hand. Yellow nodded nervously, "O-okay…"
"That leaves ya and me, Super Serious Gal." Sapphire smirked in an evil manner as she turned her back on Crystal, hands on hips. Crystal blushed a light pink, "Wait, where did you get that!?" Sapphire grinned cheekily, "Senior Gold told me your nickname, Senior Crys!"
"Pfft... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!" By the time Sapphire said Crystal's name, Gold had already erupted into a loud guffaw.
Soon after, a chorus of laughter followed. While everyone was amused, Green and Silver mouthed what seemed to be, 'Not funny, Gold.'
Gold laughed so hard until he had tears in his eyes. "EVERYTHING PAID OFF!!! I REGRET NOTHING IN MY LIFE!!! OH, THANK YOU SAPPHIRE!!!"
"WHAT!?!? THIS WAS PLANNED!?!?" Crystal stomped over to Gold."
Silver crossed his arms, "Uh-oh, we all know why that means…"
Crystal dramatically raised up her leg, and proceeded to kick the gambler in the jaw.
"OW, CRYS!!!" Gold moaned, rubbing his jaw. He spat out some drops of blood on to the ocean blue carpet. And it was visible. VERY visible.
Gold narrowed his eyes and glared at Sapphire. She raised her hands in the air, "I'm not paying for the carpet, Senior Idiot."
"That's GOT to hurt. But in all honesty, he deserves it. Good thing I never did anything to Crys. She never had to resort to violence for me. You don't realize how scary she can be when she's angry." Silver looked at the injured Gold.
"Nobody asked you." Green snorted.
"And I don't care." Silver looked away.
Yellow seemed a little worried. Okay. A LOT worried. "Umm, Crys…? Are you sure you didn't break his jaw?"
"Yep. He'll be fine." Crystal put her hands on her hips.
"100% sure, Senior?" Ruby cocked an eyebrow.
"He's DEFINITELY fine, Serves him right after all."
"Okay… If you say sooo, ma'am…" Ruby slid away from the blue-haired girl. Yellow bowed down shyly to the principal, "S-sorry for your carpet, sir."
The principal only looked at her and the rest of the Dexholders. Emerald walked up to the man in the suit. "Anyways sir, where are our dorms and how do we get to them?"
"Follow me." He gestured for the Dexholders to come out of the office.
They walked for about 5 minutes to a different, nearby building. It was about the size of a mansion. It was HUMONGOUS. They took an elevator up to the first floor above the lobby.
//5 minutes later...//
"Let me distribute your keys so you can go to your dorms."
"Red, Green, you'll be in room 101."
"Cool!" Red exclaimed, looking at his key.
"Gold, Silver, your room is 106."
Gold spun the key on his finger. "Don't play with it." Silver warned. Gold grumbled, "Nawww man."
"Blue, Yellow, you girls are upstairs, room 202."
Yellow received their key gently. "Thank you, sir."
"Crystal, Sapphire, you will dorm in room 204."
"Gimme that!" Sapphire snatched the key from the man's hand. "Sapphire! Be polite!" Crystal scolded. Sapphire smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, man."
"And finally, Ruby and Emerald, you will stay in room 305."
Emerald's jaw dropped. "WHY IS OUR ROOM ON A HIGHER FLOOR THEN THE REST OF YOU GUYS!?!? DOESN'T ANYBODY NOTICE I HAVE SHORT LEGS!?!?"
"But you're small, you should be able to run faster." Gold continued to spin the key on his finger. "FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, GOLD. STOP.THAT." Silver held his hand firmly. "Oooooohhhhhh… I think that's the first time in years we heard little Silvy shout~!" Blue winked. Silver's face was flustered. "Arceus, Blue… Listen up, guys, I don't have the energy to argue right now, so shut your pie holes."
Emerald literally face-palmed on Gold's ignorance. "Actually, Senior ass-hat, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the other way around.
Red looked at Gold, "I'm pretty sure that goggle-head suits him more. After all, he's not the only one wearing a hat here."
Blue, Yellow and Ruby nodded.
"Senior Red, we're trying to insult him!"
"Oh yeah, that's right." Red took off his bright red cap and scratched his head.
The principal gave a cough. "I hope you all are happy with your dorms?"
"Yes, sir!" All the Dexholders nodded simultaneously.
"Please be at the assembly hall tomorrow at 7:30 A.M. So rest well, students. Oh, and, please call me Mr. Smith."
"Okay, Mr. Smith." Everyone said in unison.
"Night, guys!" Gold waved as he headed to his dorm.
"Rest well!" Crystal smiled.
So, with that, the Dexholders headed to their respective dorms. They couldn't wait for the next day. It's going to be busy, but it's one step closer to going back home.
