Chapter 2

Today, the City Lord's mansion was chaotic, why one may ask? Well, two great friends of the current City Lord, Ye Zong, are about to become parents.

The relationship between the three was like those of siblings. The couple has moved into the City Lord's Mansion to show support for Ye Zong.

Ye Zong was standing outside the bedroom from which they could hear loud screams and cursing. His wife was standing beside him, pregnant into six and a half months.

"SHEN TIANKONG!!!!!! YOU DAMN BASTARD!!!!!!! YOU DID THIS!!!!!!"

As the sound of bone breaking is heard from inside the room, followed by the winter of a man.

"C, come d, dear! You can do it! Push!"

"Push your head out of your ass!!!!!! What do you think I'm doing, you damn gorilla!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!"

Again, a crushing sound can be heard, soon followed by the scream of a man.

"MOMYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!"

"Silence you damn Kong!!!!!!!! Unless you want to take my place!!"

And the screams, cursing, and cries continued for two more hours.

In the meantime, Ye Zong was pale as a sheet of paper, as he was taking peeks at his pregnant wife while gulping drily.

Then, after just a few moments, the healthy cry of a baby could be heard.

"Whaaa!"

"It's a boy!" One nurse says, as she slowly lowers the baby for his mother to hold and see him.

Taking the baby into her arms, the mother, Shen Xiannu, lets out a tired smile.

"Welcome to the world, my beautiful little baby."

What happened next surprised those inside the bedroom.

The newborn suddenly stopped crying, and slowly opened his eyes, and looked at his mother with curious eyes. After a few moments of staring, he shows an expression similar to that of a smile, afterward slowly closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Both parents seeing this, both parent's can't help laugh.

"Well dear, it seems like our son is quite something isn't he."

The new mother can't help smile and nod in agreement.

"But what do you expect, he is our child?"

"Um. just look at him. He has my hair color, while his eyes are just like yours, a beautiful red ruby. He will definitely be quite a looker when he grows up."

Just as he finishes speaking, the door opens, and show Ye Zong and his wife, Ye Meigul.

"Congratulations, sister Xianu, brother Kong."

Looking at Ye Zong, and seeing the teasing in his eyes, Shen Tiankong can't help let out a chuckle,

"Thank you! But don't worry brother Zong, your turn to be a parent will come in two, three months."

The teasing glitter from Ye Zong's eyes disappears completely, as his face drains of all blood as he sees his brother's situation, and knowing his wife does not lose in aggressivity and strength either.

As for his wife, Meigul, "What's the name of the little one?" She asks with a beaming smile as she looks toward the child.

Looking toward her husband, she sees him turning his head and giving her a nod.

"His name is... Sheng Wang."

And so time passes. Two and a half months later, the city lord mansion was once again in an uproar.

Again a pair of screams can be heard. One of an aggressive woman that cursed while the other of a whimpering man that was apologizing. This was the day the young lady of the Snow Wind family was born, her name Ye Ziyun.

The same thing happened one week later in the Winged Dragon family, the name of the baby being Xiao Ning'er.

Three years continue passing.

Life was fun, well the first year wasn't. For twenty years young man to wet the bed and some 'extra' was quite nerve-wracking. Not to even speak of his body's sensitivity or the fact that he could bearly see in the beginning.

That and to get used to breastfeeding although he got used to breastfeeding after the first two weeks.

Markus, or by his current name, Sheng Wang, found that he accepted his parents easily. It might be the blood inside him that made him react that way, but looking at the face of his mother, the one that took care of him the most, he couldn't help feel love for her. Same goes for his father, but if he were to choose, he's definitely a mama's boy.

It was also great to be healthy again. To see, hear, smell, tasting, being able to speak and feel the air on your own skin was magnificent. Now, humans really don't realize what they have tilled they lose it.

Also, being able to feel like a kid again was great. Childhood was one of the best times of a person's life, that's when you have the most freedom, the time when you can get away with doing pranks and the likes, it was great, considering the fact that he didn't have too much of a childhood in his first life.

He also made friends with Ziyun and Ning'er. It turned out to be fun to be around them. The games they played, or cloud watching.

Sometimes the three of them stayed overnight at either the Snow Wind Family or the Winged Dragon family.

Four more years passed. Shen Wang, Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er were seven years old.

Till now they have enjoyed playing and relaxing, but this year they started their education, which was made up of history class, cultivation theory, and lithe body exercise.

It was also the time when Shen Wang gave them the asauchi while making them promise to keep it a secret between them.

The girls easily accepted the blades.

It turned out they absorbed the asauchi's into their soul realm, so there were no problems.

As time passed on, so did the friendship between the three grow. They also become rivals, seeing which one memorized more from their lectures, and so on.

In these years a big incident happened.

Ye Meigul, Ziyun's mother and Cheng, Ning'er's mother, and Shen Xiannu, Shen Wang's mother where almost successful poisoned, fortunately, the poison was discovered before they could consume it. Turns out several elders from both families were dissatisfied by the closeness of the two family head, this put together that an outside source paid them quite a hefty sum to poison the three women made them take this action.

The reason for their dissatisfaction, well, Ye Zong and Xiao Yunfeng were getting more and more influential, while their power as elders was lessening, the two of them were growing in power.

As for Shen Xiannu, well, both her and her husband were one of the main reasons the families were interacting so well.

They believed if the three men where grieving they could take this chance to take control, all while lessening the power of the three, their wives were Bark Gold demon spiritualist themselves.

Whit their plot uncovered, the number of heads that roled were in the hundreds.

That, and after investigating matters more deeply, it turned out that several people that were dealt with either had a connection to the dark guild or were part of the dark guild.

Twelve years since Shen Wang's birth.

Today was the day when Xiao Ning'er, Ye Ziyun, and Shen Wang would truly embark on the road of cultivation.

When they were seven, they tested their talents, there they discovered something shocking.

All three children had Azure soul realm. If this news were to be heard, the life of the children would have been in danger, either by that hand of those inside the city or those outside, fortunately, the only one present besides the children were the parents themselves.

So, for the rest of the world, they declared that Xiao Ning'er and Shen Wang had a green-colored soul realm while Ye Ziyun had a cyan-colored soul realm.

City Lord Mansion. Training ground.

"Xiao Ning, Ye Ziyun, Shen Wang, come, it's time for the three of you to choose a cultivation technique."

After going through all, they narrow it to three per person.

Xiao Ning'er chooses a technique called Slumbering Dragon while Ye Ziyun chooses the one called Ice Demon.

As for Shen Wang, he picks the one named Raising warrior.

"Hm, a wise choice all three cultivation technique you picked is the best, and they should suit you well."

Afterward, they begin how the cultivation technique works, it's individual, and what they should do.

What the parents did not know is that their children already had a cultivation technique that was perfectly suited for each of them.

A few weeks later, Xiao Ning'er, Ye Ziyun, and Shen Wang were sitting together in the training ground, all three with a serious expression on their faces.

Ye Ziyun is the first to begin.

"Wang'er, Ning'er, a few days ago I heard a voice. At first, it started as a whisper, but now I heard it clearly."

Hearing this, both Xiao Ning'er and Shen Wang nod their heads.

"You are not the only one. I heard a voice as well. And if I'm not wrong so should have Ning'er."

Said girl nodded before raising an eyebrow and asking.

"Shen Wang, you speak as you know the reason for this?"

Ye Ziyun joins Xiao Ning'er in her question.

"Um, I do. Do you two remember the swords I gave you when we were children?"

Both girls have a tinking expression before simultaneous nodding.

"I almost forgot about them. If I remember they disappeared when we touched them back then."

"Same for me. What do they have to do with this?"

Nodding towards the two girls, Shen Wang explains.

"Yes. It's a bit complicated, but those swords were not simple swords. They were asauchi."

"Asauchi?"

"An asauchi is the first form of a zanpakuto."

"Zanpakutō is the manifestation of the soul. Each individual's zanpakutō can have up to three distinct forms. They call the first form of a zanpakutō its sealed state. In this form, a zanpakutō appears as a regular katana with no unique abilities, though minor details such as the hilt, guard, and sometimes shape vary from person to person. When an individual discovers its zanpakutō's name, the zanpakutō will change its form and gain unique powers, which is referred to as initial release. In this form, a zanpakutō is capable of things a regular sword wouldn't. Individuals with exceptional soul force can unleash their zanpakutō's final release, which is the second and final upgraded form. A soul reaper's power in final release is typically increased tenfold. To achieve it, an individual must fully materialize his/her zanpakutō's spirit in the real world and subjugate it, thus granting complete access to its power."

"Unlike initial release, there is no command phrase to activate the final release. A zanpakutō's final release is often the manifestation of the spirit itself, usually creating a massive creature or effect to aid the user, or becoming something compact, as such directly boosting an individual's physical capabilities."

Both girls are dumbstruck by Shen Wang's explanation.

A few minutes pass as they finally take in his explanation. Then it hits them.

"Wait a moment, then the voice we have been hearing were the voices of our Zanpakutō's?"

"Yes, it seems they have been trying to contact us for the past few weeks."

"Then how do we interact with them?"

"With Sword Meditation, where the individual places their Zanpakutō nearby, enters a meditative state and merges their mind with that of their Zanpakutō Spirit while entering their inner world. In our case we need to meditate similar to when we are cultivating, only, in this case, we will concentrate on our soul realm, that's where they are currently."

This gets a reaction out of Ye Ziyun.

"Wait a moment. Isn't that where our Demon Spirit resides after we integrate with it?"

"Our Zanpakutō's are quite similar to Demon Spirit's. Anyway, we should try to see what results we can obtain."

And so all three take a meditating position…
