Inside the St. John family home.
Tyrant was carrying Mark who was sleeping on his back while following Brenda St. John to the room where Mark supposes to spend some time resting, they walked up a flight of stair and downed the hall a bit, and they finally arrived.
As Leonard expected, it's the same room where Lee discovers Mark with his legs missing and turned into "Dinner" by the St. John cannibals.
A bookcase covered the hidden bathroom where they did their dirty work, a bed- pretty much look like a normal bedroom.
"Here we are sweeties, you can put your friend down on to the bed, let him have some rest, we'll be calling for him once dinner's ready," Brenda suggested.
"Put him on the bed, Big T," Leonard ordered the brute to put Mark down on to the bed and let him rest.
"Is there a reason as to why your friend covered his face in a mask, doesn't he feel sweaty?" Brenda asked out of curiosity.
"Yeah, the poor man had his face burned bad when the outbreak happened, he wore the face mask to not scare the kids and surprised everyone in the group at night," he told her.
"Oh poor dear," Brenda gave Big T her sympathy.
"Well we all should leave now so your friend can get his rest," she told them and then walked the three of them then left Mark in that room alone and headed back outside.
"We need evidence to get rid of these cannibals...Mark I'm sorry- but you'll have to be the sacrifice…however...do not worry, I will put you out of your misery and not leaving you forever a zombie, like what happened in the game." Leonard made his hard decision.
Outside.
Leonard could see that Lee and Danny had left along with Conner to hunt the bandits that are lurking out in the woods.
Clementine and Duck were playing on the swing, and of course, Duck is the one pushing her.
Ryan was sitting on the stair watching the two little kids playing happily on the swing.
"Not joining them?" Leonard sat down next to her and asked.
"No. I'm too old for that now," she told him.
"Oh…" he said nothing more. "So how are you holding up? I mean...we're not been home for who knows how long now, you must have been quite homesick," he asked her.
She just shook her head.
"No, I'm fine since you are with me." she leaned closer to him.
"She's your COUSIN Leonard! Keep the fire down! It is NOT RIGHT!" the thought burned into his mind.
"You'll protect me right?" she asked.
"Y-yeah I'll definitely protect you." he stuttered.
Kenny who was with the two kids caught sight of them.
"It's good to be young…" he commented and gave them a whistle.
"Oh shut it old man!" that's what Leonard want to blurt out however he swallowed it down and just gave him a meaningful smile.
Ryan, who heard Kenny commented jumped back to reality and moved away from Leonard.
"I'm sorry…." she blushed.
"It's not a problem," Leonard told her.
"Alright I'll just go and have a look around." he then got up and walked toward the barn.
Out in the woods, with Conner, Lee, and Danny.
They walked silently while holding their rifles.
"See anything?" Danny asked Lee who was walking in front of him.
"Not yet," Lee replied softly.
"I know it's around here. It's gotta be close." Danny told them.
Then Lee came to a halt and kneel down on one knee, he spotted an opened empty can of food on a dirt trail.
He then got up and continue walking and follow the dirt trail.
"Here." Lee signal the other two.
They too also saw it, it was a camp in front of them.
"Oh shit! You found it?!" Danny said excitedly.
Lee used hand signally telling Danny to keep his voice down.
They quickly sneak close to camp and Lee pull up his rifle to look through the scope.
However, he found no one inside the camp other than a few boxes and opened cans of food.
Once again they sneaked closer.
"You see anybody?" Danny asked Lee.
"Stay on your guard," Lee told him. "Conner stays here to keep an eye out for us," Lee told him.
They all then walked cautiously inside the camp, searching.
"Watch my back, Lee. I'm gonna check out the tent." Danny told them
He then walked up to the biggest tent and pulled it- however, there was nobody inside.
"This camp's too small. It can't be their main base." Danny told him.
"That's what I was thinking," Lee added in.
"Take a look around anyway. There's probably some shit around here they stole from us." Danny suggested and went back to looking around.
"Boxes from the dairy here," Lee called out to Danny.
"Prob'bly the food we've been given' em. Fuckers crossed the line." Danny growled.
Lee then went back to searching.
"Don't you fucking move!" suddenly a woman voice called out from behind Lee.
Yes yes, unnecessary assholiness and cold blooded for letting it all happen to Mark.
but changing his fate of being...ahem...the main course would lead to all kind of mess.
who the hell would be the main course, damn it I need a good excuse to kill them...there...surprise!
but he will never be forgotten!
