At that point, she doubted that if she would ever get a man like that, someone who gave it his all for her. It was like a seed that had been planted. This metaphorical seed made her think almost every day what would've happened, how her life would've been if she had been accepted by Davis, who at that time went by the name Alchemist Scythe.
