Wrath Of An Emperor

Back on the other side of the island, Ori was still following behind Crocodile when he sensed the death of Oven.

[Killing one of her children will definitely put us on Big Mom's radar. Even if she doesn't actually care much for their lives, she'll still feel as if she was slapped in the face once she hears her own son was killed…

Actually this might just be for the best.]

Thinking to there, Ori let out a little smile as he seemed to have come up with a plan for the future.

After another 5 minutes of walking, Crocodile led Ori to a large castle, but instead of heading inside as Ori believed, he lead Ori round the back using a hidden path.

"We're almost there now."

Finally they reached a small and dreary paddock that looked to be the home of some sort of large creature as there was giant claw prints on the ground.

[This must be where that little lizard resided.]

Crocodile turned to Ori and pointed in the direction of a small unassuming shack at the back of the paddock.

"Inside that shack is the vault."

Ori nodded as he looked in the direction of the shack before walking over and opening it. When he opened it, he saw stairs leading down into a dark cellar. As he descended he saw the bottom of the cellar was brightened by candle lights.

When Ori finally made it to the bottom he was shocked by what he saw. The ground was covered in treasures. There was everything from gold to weapons, there were even 3 devil fruits.

[Ooh the pigeon zoan fruit, the mud logia fruit and even Eustass Kidd's magnet fruit. Quite the collection he had acquired. Although none of these fruits mean anything to me they should be able to bring a fair bit of money our way.]

As Orion was looking through the cellar to see if there was anything else worth while he noticed an ordinary looking sheathed chokuto, but for some reason he felt drawn to it.

It had a white hilt that almost looked as if were melded to the scabbard which was also white making it difficult to see where the hilt stopped, and the scabbard began. Half way up the hilt was the silver carving of a cloud being blown by the wind.

"I'm pretty sure it's the first time I'm seeing this sword, why does it feel so familiar to me?!"

Seeing Ori's dazed expression Crocodile followed his line of sight and was surprised at what she saw.

"Purity Dream!"

Hearing Crocodile, Ori turned back to the one handed woman in confusion.

"Purity Dream? What's that?!"

"Purity Dream is the name of the sword! It's a Skilful grade sword forged 5 years ago by a young up and coming forger. It's said to be the artefact he forged to become a Skilful grade forger but what makes it so special is that despite it being a Skilful grade sword, it's not much worse than some Great grade artefact's.

After creating it, it was supposed to be put up for auction in a certain auction house but was robbed by a strong yet mysterious individual before the sword could be delivered to the auction house."

Ori looked at the sword in front of him.

[The grades for artefacts are Ungraded, Graded, Skilful, Great, Supreme and according to Bai Kitetsu there's even a Divine grade.

My Demon Prestige was an Ungraded sword, but this is a Skilful sword not much worse if not equal to some Great grade artefacts.]

He looked at the sword and then back at Crocodile and asked.

"You said the forger was a young up and coming forger, what was their name?"

"The dreaming forger, Bai Kitetsu!"

"Hahahaha if I didn't know better, I'd say this was fate."

As he said that he raised the sword and unsheathed it. The blade was a glistening silver and unlike most chokutos, was twin sided.

He swung the sword gently with a slight smile on his face. The sword danced through the air making a soothing whistling sound as it moved. As he finally re-sheathed his sword he looked at it with appreciation and muttered gently.

"Bai, you've really outdone yourself with this one. I'll continue my journey with another one of your swords."

As he spoke Purity Dream let out a slight hum in contentment. He then hung the sword at his hip and took the three devil fruits before walking towards the exit.

"I'll just take the devil fruits and this sword, you can take the rest."

Hearing that, Crocodile could only watch as Ori departed in shock.

[The rest? Even though the sword and devil fruits are worth the most individually, everything remaining comes to at least £800,000,000. I really can't figure him out.

First he willingly picks a fight with a Yonko to protect someone he's never met before and now he leaves so much treasure for someone else. He's unlike any other pirate I've ever met.]

As Ori returned from the cellar he started walking towards their ship, where they had originally agreed to meet after rescuing Silk.

After strolling through the streets casually for over 30 minutes he finally returned. He saw Roman collapsed on the deck exhausted with Shaya beside him looking after Sabo who was still unconscious, and Silk was sat cross legged at the front of the ship looking out to sea deep in thought.

He walked over to Roman and Shaya first.

"Everything alright?"

Roman was so exhausted he even struggled to nod his head with a smile. Shaya rolled her eyes as she replied.

"That idiot's fine, just tired after overexerting himself in his fight with Oven. Sabo's fine, he should wake up tomorrow and Silk's injuries are bad but not fatal, he should make a full recovery in a couple weeks.

But Oven's dead, so we may have just pissed off a Yonko!"

Ori shrugged as he replied.

"What's done is done and who knows this might just be a blessing in disguise for our future plans."

Shaya scrunched her brows in confusion as she asked.

"Blessing in disguise? We have just slapped the face of one of the four most powerful pirate crews in the new world at the moment, we have planned to go after Kaido and you think it's a blessing for those plans? How is that a ble…"

Just as she said that she seemed to realise something.

She looked up at Ori and smiled as she said.

"You're right, it'll be risky, but it may just work."

Roman who was lying there listening to their conversations was officially confused. He asked weakly.

"What'll be risky?"

Shaya looked at Roman and replied.

"The first few parts of our plans rely on Kaido not knowing who it is who's targeting him. Who would ever believe that a rookie pirate crew would actively go out of their way to piss off a Yonko whilst being targeted by another? If we outwardly make it look like we're fighting with Big Mom and go after Kaido in secret, Kaido should be none the wiser.

We just need to do everything we can to make sure Big Mom and her crew don't interfere with our plans."

Hearing that Roman finally understood what they meant, but he didn't seem to mind either way. As far as he was concerned, regardless of whether it was Kaido, Big Mom, or Whitebeard they were all the same. The only person he looked at differently was Shanks as he was the former crew mate of his uncle.

Ori left them and walked over to Silk who was so deep in thought he hadn't noticed Ori's return. It wasn't till Ori took a seat next to him that he noticed his presence. He immediately struggled to his feet and bowed.

"Thank you for everything you have done for me. I can't even begin to pay you back for repeatedly saving my life."

Ori shook his head with a smile as he replied.

"Don't worry about it, I only did what I wanted to.

You look better than you did on the arena, Shaya said you should be good as new in a couple of weeks."

As he said that he reached inside his cloak and took out 3 devil fruits and lay them out in front of Silk before he continued.

"These are for you, with them you should be able to hire a good team of S rank adventurers from the federation."

Silk looked down at the 3 devil fruits in shock.

[A devil fruit goes for a minimum of £50,000,000. With these 3 I can get at least £150,000,000, that's £50,000,000 more than I needed.]

Thinking to there he looked deeply at the young man sat beside him and asked

"Why are you going so far to help me? You don't even know me!"

Ori gestured towards Shaya and said.

"9 years ago when your father slaughtered his way into Mary Geoise and rescued all those slaves, Shaya was one of them. She's one of the reasons we decided to help you."

When he heard that he remembered the original reports he read on Shaya, explaining how she was once a slave but escaped alongside Boa Hancock and her sisters. He understood that Shaya must've felt greatly indebted to his father and saw this as a way of repaying her debts. He looked back at Ori and asked.

"What about the other reason?"

Ori smiled and replied merrily.

"Because I've decided that no matter what I'm gonna convince you to be the 5th member of the Heavenly Demon Pirates! Hahaha!"

In the centre of an island in the new world that looked like it was made from several cakes and sweets sat a giant cake like castle.

In the throne room of that castle sat an obese woman whose chin was hidden by her torso. She was an enormous woman standing just short of 9 meters which is only a little over 3 meters short of the minimum height of a giant (12 meters). She had orange eyes and defined eyelashes and wore thick purple eyeshadow. She had big lips which was covered in red lipstick and large round teeth. She had long and curly wild pink hair the reached halfway down her back, a beak like nose and round cheeks.

She was dressed in a large pink bicorne hat with the picture of a Jolly Roger on the front, except that it had crossed sabers instead of crossbones. She donned a pink dress with red polka dots and white ruffles on its neck and hemline, and a white cape attached to the back that reached the ground even at her size.

The gargantuan woman was sat idly with her eyes closed when a younger woman who looked like a younger version of the behemoth on the throne entered the room in a panic.

"Momma, Momma, there's been an accident!"

The behemoth on the throne was the Yonko, Big Mom. She opened her eyes and looked indifferently at the younger woman.

"Compote, it's not like you to get worked up, what accident has your knickers in a twist?"

The smaller and younger version of Big Mom that entered was her eldest daughter Compote Charlotte.

"Little brother Oven has been murdered, whilst out on the mission to bring back that half mink, half fishman."

A thick and overbearing killing intent was released from Big Mom when she heard that.

"You mean that trash couldn't even bring back my new toy?! Hmph! Tell Katakuri and Daifuku to go and find out what happened and unless it was those bastards at the world government or one of the other Yonko's who intervened, they are to bring back my toy alive and take the head of whoever it was that got in the way of my plans!"

"Yes Momma, I'll tell them to set out right away."

Just as Capote was about to leave, Big Mom said indifferently.

"Ooh and Capote, tell them not to even bother coming back if they fail!"

Capote felt a cold shiver travel down her spine when she heard that but didn't hesitate to reply.

"Yes Momma!"

As she left, Big Mom looked out towards Parch Island in Paradise before closing her eyes once more.
