A Nightmare (4)

"Do you want the truth or do you want me to lie?"

Huo Siqian unwrapped a lollipop and passed it to Huo Mian.

He then unwrapped another one and put it in his own mouth, mischievous like a young child.

"Duh, of course the truth."

"The truth… is… I haven't thought about it. We should focus on escaping first." Huo Siqian laughed.

"What kind of talk is that? After we finish our meal, we'll keep driving. We'll reach the city in less than 6 hours, right?"

Su Yu thought that, so far, their escape had been quite successful. They were in the last stage. Once they got out of there, everything will be over.

Huo Siqian, however, didn't see it that way.

"Yeah, let's decide when we get out of here." Huo Siqian reiterated.

Huo Mian grew even more anxious…

She took the lollipop and put it in her mouth, hoping its sweetness would calm her heart.
