The Belforts' were the most respected families in the Western State of the empire. But amidst the Bleforts there was always a long-standing feud, especially among Adris and Arlo. Even though they tried to move past their bitter relationship, things always seem to come back to square one after a while.
One day, Joanne, Arlo's daughter, Joanne reaches the Belfort mansion where Adris accepts her into the household. Azalea who never had a sibling began enjoying her company. Soon, their relationship grew into a deep bond and friendship.
But as they got older Joanne seemed to have had changed. Her once kind, understanding, and gentle personality seemed now forced and cold. And their friendship first cracked when Azalea overheard Joanne who became a Princess, humiliate her and her family, once amongst her friends. Moreover, Azalea felt her world crumble down when the news of the mass murder in the Belforts' Mansion, which took the lives of her entire family, came to her. But, little did Azalea know that the only Belfort alive was she herself. Unable to keep her sanity, she sought solace in Joanne, whose schemes were unknown to Azalea.
Azalea was framed in many cases and was later given a death sentence, under the charge of trying to kill the crown princess Joanne, who was appointed as the new Queen of Hastell, owing to her mentally unstable condition due to the loss of her family. When Azalea gets to know about all of Joanne's plans and schemes, it was all too late.
But, one the day of her death penalty Azalea promises Joanne if she gets a chance to show her what it felt like to stand in her shoes, she would. Joanne dismiss her petty words ad was later guillotined.
But to Azalea's surprise, she realizes that she had time traveled into the past 6 years from the day she believed she died. And this time she decides to set things straight. Trust issues and bonds with people seemed to have taken a toll on Azalea this time.
Maybe it was time she understood that there are people whom she can trust and hold onto after all in this wicked world... and she wouldn't be all alone this time.
But Life and the world, don't always go as one pleases...there are bound to be changes, undiscovered secrets, and unforeseen obstacles...

"Well, this shall bring that smile off your face," she said coming closer to her ear and whispering, "I shall let you in, on one of my secrets. Remember your house burning down, the screeching cries of your parents and servants? Well, I did it. I did all those, and YOU ...Your death will make my parents the sole owners of Belfort's fortunes." Joanne smiled evilly into azaleas' cool yet cold ones
"Haaaahh..." she sighed and shook her head "So I wasn't wrong ".
"See here Joanne, people say, the noblest revenge is Forgiving. But if I ever get a chance, Ever, I shall make you suffer the same way what I did. No less, no more."
"You won't be alive for that...Miracles happen to those who are alive and breathing--" Joanne
"technically speaking, Im still alive and breathing. Just a little tarnished" I corrected her. Her face slipped into a malicious scowl. "miracles may come when you least expect it..."
