[Dropped] Reincarnated in the DxD World

I am Carlin, an orphan teenager. Well, that should be 'was' instead of 'am' in there, I guess?

Anyways, I was a stereotype average girl you can find anywhere easily. Had average grades, average friends, average looks, average hobbies, and well, average life. Still, I was happy nonetheless. My life was just starting to get good after the rough childhood I had.

I was returning to my place after the graduation party. Saw a cute little girl walking with her mother. Don't know from where suddenly a truck came in full speed towards them. Well, my body moved before I could process what happened. There was no extra space on the side so I could not just pull them towards me from aside. So I pushed them on the side but did not have enough time to save myself.

All became black after a great amount of pain I felt on my whole body.

That's it. I died. After some, well, maybe a long, or whatever time later I gained consciousness, I found myself in this place.

The man is in front of me. Looking at a paper-like thing that seems glowing.

"As you know, you have died." The man spoke.

"I know," I replied.

"You seem pretty calm about it. Don't you have any regret?"

"Many. But will that make any difference? "

"True. Anyways, what do you want to do now that you died?"

"Can you make me alive again? "

"I can. But not in the same world."

"Well. Then what should I do?"

"You can reborn in another world. Many worlds exist in different dimensions. You can choose one and I can also give you some abilities so that you can start from a safe point. Due to having some good karma, you can get some pretty good abilities."

"Will there be others like me in those worlds? "I asked ignoring the talk about karma.

"No. Each world has multiple parallel worlds, including yours. There are also different you in a different universe. So, if one wants to reborn in a certain universe, the person will be sent to a universe where no one like her or him will be there."

"The cause? "

"To not create chaos. Normally, if one dies then the memory from the soul gets erased and sent for reincarnation in a random world. But cases like you are unique as for some reason your memory cannot be erased without getting your soul harmed. Destroying a soul is considered taboo. So we give them other options as I gave you."

'Hmm. Is there any mission I have to do there? "

"No. You can lead your life however you want except destroying the world. As your memory can't be erased, you will always be reincarnated in these types of worlds where supernatural things exist from now on. Just lead your life and have fun. And well, do some good deeds if you want."

"Can I contact you after I reborn there?"

I ignored the unknown worlds and went to the Fantasy worlds section. There were Naruto, Dxd, Hunter X Hunter, AOT, One Piece, My hero Academia, Demon Slayer, etc.

Although I was an otaku. As I was an orphan, I had to do part-time jobs to get extra money. So had limited time to watch anime or read the manga. While I watched quite some anime. It's not that great in number.

"I choose the DxD world," I said. Although this world is full of perverts, killers, and psychopaths. One can become independent easily unlike other worlds. An unknown entity can just pop up from anywhere, no one will care about it cause it's quite natural there as the world is full of strong beings.

"Alright. But Remember, the DxD world won't be fully the same as the one you know about. Now, you have 85 karma points. Choose the ability or abilities you want using the points you have."

I saw the abilities on the list. Before I thought that 85 points are not that much. But it seems like I misinterpreted. I could get powers of Great red if I had 88 points while Ophis if 86 points. I saw the list going. On the upper portion of the list except for the powers which are locked mostly full of Hindu pantheon Gods. Man, they are monsters. It seems multiple Gods are stronger than Heavenly Dragons in their prime. There were characters and abilities from other anime also but I ignored those.

"Can't I see what powers these characters have? With the name only does not tell me anything if I don't know about the character."

"That's the catch. Normally you would not gain multiple powers together in one package even with your high points as some of the characters in the list are basically the strongest entities in their world. We are giving you a discount while making it a bit hard to balance both side."

"Sigh. Alright, I choose Shiva's power then. I don't know much about other characters. Shiva's power, even if partially, is easy to understand."

"Good choice. You will be as strong as Shiva except in you will be inexperienced. And also, there will some powers Shiva has which you won't have, as compensation, you will be given some powers which Shiva does not have.

The workers becoming lazier as time passing. She is getting points from her last 4 lives and but it wasn't distributed by the system for some unknown causes and no one even noticed! It broke the limit and now how memory could not be erased for that reason.

It's good that she did not press for an answer. Although we can lie, it weakens us for a certain time according to the effect it has.

I need to talk with the workers it seems.
