Of course! I'll be rooting for you :D
Kingdom Core is, so far, a delightful and engaging read. The author demonstrates a strong command of prose, with an evocative writing style that vividly brings the world to life. Set within the "Lord System" genre the novel offers a refreshing take on familiar tropes. The pacing is deliberate, allowing the story and settlement-building elements to unfold naturally, and the supporting characters are written as real people rather than one-dimensional yes-men to the protagonist. That said, the novel does have some room for improvement in its dialogue and characterization. It introduces a fairly large cast early on, and as a result, many characters struggle to stand out. The dialogue can feel inconsistent, sometimes clipped or awkward, which is particularly noticeable given the high quality of the prose elsewhere. Overall, Kingdom Core is a strong entry in its genre with plenty of promise. I’m excited to see where the author takes the story next. Keep at it!
