Well, I don't like to give too many spoilers, but... let's just say if you've seen Naruto, you know that after the events of Orochimaru's attack, the Village Hidden in the Sound ceases to be relevant. It remains Orochimaru's base of operations, and while it does make an appearance in Boruto, in the original Naruto canon, it effectively fades from the story. So, in this story, the Village Hidden in the Sound will have a much greater participation in the narrative. So yes, there will definitely be a significant expansion on the abilities and lore of Sound-style techniques. [img=strong]
