But given how you put it, I can give it another chance. I may have been too quick to judge.❤️❤️
But I can understand; this is a problem for many authors: they don't dare to write about things like, for example, the legal loopholes in counterfeiting iPhones or branded clothing and selling them in online stores.
What I'm trying to say is that stocks and lotteries have become clichéd (of course, completely illogical unless you're an expert in them). I mean, if I'm not mistaken, the iPhone took off that year, even if it didn't capitalize on the era of imitation (I fell victim to it, lol). It could trade in accessories and related products, or even easier, there's e-commerce.
I don't know, when I saw that he would make money from copying novels I knew that the author wasn't even trying😑 (if he started buying junk and recycling it, it would have been a better idea than this).😅
I can feign ignorance when it comes to stocks and lotteries, but copying novels?😑
It's mundane, stocks and lotteries, that's all. There are no innovative ideas, and I think it will continue like this. Of course, this is to be expected. If he were capable to this extent, he would have been somewhat successful in the past. In any case, an average novel, just another repetition of dozens of novels of the same type (I only read the first few chapters, I may be wrong).
The problem is that the moment he started thinking about how to make money, he was already saying that he could never be rich; the more accurate question would be how to steal money without getting punished by the law.
I used to complain that this site only translated mediocre and bad novels, then I read the first few chapters of this one and thought, "Finally!" But of course, this site never let me down. MC feels arrogant because he can oppose the investment decision, so he acts like he's king. But in reality, there are dozens of ways to deal with him. For example, the reason for his opposition is personal interests that conflict with the company's interests, and the funny thing is, he said it himself (for this reason alone, his vote is completely invalid). If the competition is fierce and aggressive, our friend might end up in court to compensate for the losses with large sums. Of course, our friend is broke and can't pay, and the best outcome would be to strip him of his shares. Anyway, he's an idiot.
WTF? This was... low. How did it suddenly go from mature writing to low-level boasting? It was realistic, but the next minute the other characters turned into stupidly respectful NPCs. So, anyone dining at a five-star hotel (I think) needs to have some money (meaning the manager is looking for trouble), and even if you don't, you're about to be kicked out. Do you care about apologizing to someone you might never see again? If they don't curse the MC as they leave, that's a testament to their character.
The novel seems good and free of vulgarity so far.
