I'm embarrassed to admit it, but in the novel, the academy's sole purpose is to be the most cutthroat hero academy. It functions like a social experiment where 'anything' can happen, mirroring the challenging environment of the demon-human war 300 years ago, despite the current peaceful era with near-zero crime rates and minimal societal problems. However, the academy merely serves as a backdrop; the real focus is on its characters. As the story unfolds in volume 2, the specific nature of the academy becomes irrelevant(Can't say why)🫡.
