a terrible mistake. letting Hollywood happen
I should also mention. it is not your sin. its the man's taxing you. Jesus said turn the other cheek forgive your fellow man. if you are incapable of forgiving your fellow man from taxing you finding your way into heaven will be difficult. but that's a problem everyone experiences. I can't say I don't atleast heavily dislike the governments of the world for abusing the power given to them at literally every opportunity
the Bible I believe specifically states follow the law unless it contradicts what the Bible says. if the Bible doesn't say taxes are wrong then no matter how high the taxes are you must follow it. unjust laws do not qualify as being against the word of God unless essentially mentioned. however the Bible does say it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man into heaven. essentially you must go with those taxes but if the man taxing you uses it for his own greed well you'll have a far higher chance into heaven than him. the rich man gives up his immortal soul for the pleasures of the flesh. it's fair to a certain extent even if it doesn't feel fair as your paycheck disappears
these people didn't read the Delores umbridge part I guess
iroh*
I mean he hasn't really done much else? he killed a few dozen soldiers during the omashu incident and some water tribe people. hell king bumi himself was gonna let 5 thousand fire nation soldiers die. if we're strictly talking about good versus bad pretty much every master bender included in the white lotus iron included did worse.
i believe it's by the same writer but the nascent kaleidoscope is in my opinion one of the best fanfics of all time. genuinely ridiculously well written I love it a lot.
alternate universe. basically just the author saying they either won't follow cannon or will loosely follow cannon
oddly close to what I remember omniman was like before the whole trying to take over earth thing
isnt particularly normal to tip a cashier in the US either. at least it wasn't till companies realized they could get the customers to pay for their employees wages if they just add tipping to everything
