Leandro or Lenny Bridgers, for short, was just the average American.
After obtaining his college degree with ordinary grades, he left home and entered the next life phase. His new job was not very rewarding, though, and whenever he was not slaving away for his superiors, he liked to write in his free time. At least he tried because he was not very good at it.
The thing he had a turn for, however, was playing games and reading fiction. Composing new characters' cheats for his whimsical tales was something he did on the side. The bloke's life was pitiful at times, if not because he still had a friend.
A friend, he could share his joy, passions, and late buzz with. One such night, where the two socially awkward bachelors got too heated over something petty on a discord channel, they provoked someone moody. The next day, the two young men would have woken up groggy and confused after the prank pulled on them if they didn't obtain gifts.
Gifts that leveled the anointed but extravagant reality they had to endure indefinitely...
