its a great novel. although I hope later on it will actually show the perspective on the child. Like not one P.O.V of the child or his thoughts. He feels more like a plot device than the main Character. Other than that great novel though, well written and properly thought out.

Correct me if I am wrong author, but I am assuming it was deliberate to not show the MCs perspective because for all intents and purposes he was living as a mindless puppet that was following commands.

Yes. Not much will be shown form his perspective, but it will once in a while just to give a bit of insight to the mind of the insane
