It started of kind of dull and generic, but that was fine as most novels start off with the same kind of backstory. Then it got quite interesting as he was trying to get stronger in the dungeon and trying to get back home. But all of a sudden for some reason the MC keeps nerfing himself for some unknown reasons (while in a school competition where he is trying to win an elixir to cure his mother) and going easy on literally every opponent he faces which is a bit strange since he just went through 2 years old life and death battles, but now he seems like the most amiable and friendly guy ever. The author is also trying to make simple situations seem much more complicated than they really are. I get you are trying to make the story interesting but if the logic doesn't line up, it will just seem stupid. Also he has a magic power called warp which could teleport him really far, but he never seems to use it when he is in danger or in any situation really. I'm thinking of dropping this novel at chapter 57.

You ate still rather early in the book, but I see your point, he wants to be able to fight and train his skills, and in some places he can’t teleport, and remember, we are seeing from the mcs view point, and he’ more brute then statigic, it gets better later on, you can skip chaps every now and then, like 50-60 and just read a few, it’s gets interesting after he heads to cloud plain, thats we’r the real chara devopment happens, and he will gets smarter with time, at this point, he is just 19, almost 20, so make sure to rememer he is more teenager then adult!
