This is a jackpot for everyone that's looking for a cold, powerdriven protagonist, that stops at nothing to achieve his goals. No attachments, or anything to hold him back. While the writing is a little on the shaky side, the contents are superb. An intriguing world, diverse power systems and scheming that reminds one of Reverend Insanity. The main character doesn't really show much emotion unless it's power related. He will simply comply with his circumstances, for the easiest way to succeess, whether that's indiscriminate killing, or saving others. The further into the story, the better all pieces fall into place, in an intricate entanglement, to combine into a masterpiece, that one day might make competiton for Reverend Insanity.
