Pretty good novel, if I dare say so myself. It definitely has its flaws. For example, it can be a bit corny at times ,but honestly, that’s pretty ignorable. For the people complaining that the MC isn’t talented enough, even though he’s the Final Vessel (the “perfect” vessel), I think you’ve overlooked a few things. If we’re talking strictly about talent, then nobody matches the MC. His essence manipulation is nearly perfect — as efficient as it can possibly get. If we’re talking about technical skill, the MC still has the edge. Even Elliot himself stated that the MC’s sword skills are superior. The only real reason the original protagonist is stronger(or as strong) right now is because of his broken haxes. And while some may say the MC’s ability is underwhelming, it’s clearly a late-bloomer type of power. It can literally perceive souls — its potential is practically limitless. People also forget that the only reason they’re even on the same realm is because the others have access to superior resources. If the MC had those same resources, he would have reached Rank 3 much sooner. And it’s not just one character — everyone mentioned had those advantages. Even Alicia, the youngest Rank 7. Honestly, it’s very likely that the MC suffers from imposter syndrome, inferiority complex, or something similar because of his past. That would explain why he constantly downplays himself and holds everyone else in such high regard. Considering how much he was trained and tortured, yet still finds others keeping up with him, it makes sense that he’s too hard on himself. I’m bringing all this up because it seems to be a major turn-off for many readers. I just wanted to explain my reasoning and how I interpreted what I read. It would be a shame for people to miss out on this hidden gem because of a misunderstanding. I truly recommend this novel

The one who has the best swordsmanship in his year — maybe even in the second and third years too — and even managed to modify his swordsmanship , a feat that even Freya, the headmaster of the academy, praised him for it. Oh, and he got a perfect 20/20 in theory, while the second best, Celestina, got only 19/20( he probably didn’t even study) He’s also the one who managed (or will manage) to decipher the most difficult language, a language even the gods struggled to understand — from scratch. And he also outsmarted the God of Time But yes, he’s totally 'untalented' Right, guys. These feats are *completely normal.* It’s not like no matter how hard you work, these things wouldn’t be humanly possible without talent. Like, come on — no matter how hard you work, some things just aren’t possible without talent. And these? These are exactly those things. Honestly, the fact that the most talented Saint and the heads of the Great Clans recognized him as *more talented than his own sister* should be enough to shut down his insecurities for good. Hard work definitely played a role, but there are things even hard work can’t get you — and these feats are perfect examples of that. Honestly, at this point, it’s just stupidity from Azriel, I guess.

She didn't travel to the past to help him. The future MC said the only way to SAVE HER is to send her back to the past. So she is currently investing in this version of the MC to save herself. Also he is right the MC from the future and current MC are different people.

Whats talent even in this case? I mean didnt everyone say that Amans progress is quite fast,which means he is quite talented. I mean he also works hard , which makes his progress monstrous, right? Also this is actually Amans speciality, things that have to do with the mind, like visualising and the other things needed for this training, so which talent does he lack,I mean he seems to have plenty?
