A fantastic One Piece fict. The mc's character is compelling, and their growth is written in a engaging and natural way, as natural as One Piece's posible. The story captures the lively, adventurous spirit characteristic of OP, making it feel authentic to the original while still adding its own unique perspective, i think that the premise of building a pirate family has already been used but is not burned tho, this story is not bad at all. The pacing is smooth, and the narrative keeps you hooked with every chapter. So far, I’m completely invested, and I can’t wait to see how the story develops further. Highly recommended.

I guess that’s true, but the MCs still seem to waver between villainy and heroism, like attending the hero academy “just because,” even though they don’t actually want to be a hero. I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t want to go but were forced into it by circumstances. Perhaps give it a try; you might enjoy it. While there are a few errors, the author does ends up correcting them over time.

Better now. I personally find the decision not to have the MC take the kidnapper's quirk more problematic than the lack of emotional display previously shown. If this wasn't an oversight and you deliberately chose to write it this way, then fair enough, But it does make the MC appear less intelligent or resourceful than he's been portrayed so far. Given how clever he’s been up until now, it feels out of character for him not to exploit such an opportunity. If you intended to depict him this way, then that’s ok. But if this wasn’t your intention and you still don’t want him to take the quirk, perhaps consider adding a narrative barrier that prevents him from doing so. As it stands, it’s odd that he didn’t even contemplate it.
