Agreed, but still advised to have a note on my page somewhere despite how bad the novel might look. Thx

Dear discerning reader, Thank you for venturing into my half-written saga. Your succinct six-chapter exploration out of 25 written, and your candid feedback, even if it’s a solitary star, still graces my work. And no offence taken; as I’m really grateful and shall address your musings with diligence, sharing a bit of clarification for other readers to grab the essence. 1. The elusive protagonist, introduced subtly in the first chapter, is akin to a secret awaiting revelation. The “I” pronouns of the MC chapters, seemingly innocuous, are the breadcrumbs leading to future convergence. 2. My writing method, seems unrecognized has a name : “convergent storytelling.” It’s a mix of hints, where the reader glimpses facets of story through fractured mirrors, as well as parallel events, seemingly disparate, in reality are orbiting sharing one destiny. 3. Moreover, my characters own names from myths and legends that give more perception of their origin, powers and status. Perhaps, it’s difficult to comprehend for the impatient reader, who seeks the main channel immediately. Anyway, for the story’s course is set, each chapter and each paragraph—the confluence—will bind finally all the disparate events into a torrent of revelation. So, dear reviewer, I am no wishy-washy scribe. I am just a cartographer, mapping situations for characters’ to entwine their destinies in the nearest future. Consider my freak imagination just a bit different type of narration, not everyone likes, but at least leave a chance for someone else to read passionately up till the end and then decide. Wish you happy reading journey! Thx for your time and efforts.

The Pond that Absorbed Me

I wish this story had more readers, cuz the ML is hilariously self- devastating jerk on a survival mission with gorgeous company he doesn’t care about. They shared constellations earlier, but now light-years separated their ‘whispered’ wishes… *** In a moment of unforeseen Fate, a young man reaches into the icy waters, but with a sudden, forceful pull, he is drawn into its depths. Now shrouded in the Darkness he endures his imprisonment there. “Reconnecting with an old friend is like finding a lost jade—if only it were worth the trouble.” Xiǎo Fù, The Servant. *** Meanwhile, in the secluded monastery the Great Master’s rage ignites when his servant vanishes. Four days of torment, anger, and longing leave every monk wishing for their own end… until an unexpected visitor comes. “Ah, just when you thought the storm had passed, here comes the flood.” Fēng Bó, The Great Master. *** At this very time, the Prince suffers distress by the grief of loss, spending his days in drunken mourning in order to dull the pain. He doesn't have any desire to cling to life anymore, but being immortal, he cannot just die. “Eternity? Like waiting for a thousand cherry blossoms to bloom—one by one.” Mùnchén, The Second Prince. *** Forbidden practices, Heavenly secrets, Fate’s defiance and the Realms on the brink of War. As well as Curse, Scheming, Sacrifice and Punishment that turns God into Wandering Spirit, and Spirit into the only Heavenly Heir. Sarcasm on the edge of torture, both evoke the bittersweet ache of missed encounters and unfulfilled destinies. *** THE LEGEND In a world where Realms are connected, there's an old tale—a Legend that whispers of Balance and hidden Powers. According to this lore, all Realms share a common origin, and their Fates are intertwined. Realms are destined to coexist as one. Here, no hierarchy prevails—no masters, no slaves. Instead, Realms harmonize, their existence interwoven threads. Should the Balance falter, Chaos looms, and the Abyss threatens to swallow everything. Yet, when the Abyss fully absorbs the Realms, the Celestial Source establishes a new Cycle of Life, and brings new Realms to coexist. But even if the Abyss is undeniable, a hope remains, for within the same Source that birthed the Abyss lies an indomitable Force—a Guardian, the One, born to confront, combat, and seal it. Thus, the current Realms gain their chance at survival. *** PS This story was planned long ago, but life is life, so I only decided to share it within online community now. That’s why your support means a world to me. Thx in advance! *** All intellectual property rights of this novel chapters are owned by the author (uttophian).

Shadowborne: The Silent King

Never before had I, a sovereign of vast realms, tasted the bitter draught of death. My life, a tapestry of minor scrapes and swift recoveries, had known no true peril until this dire moment. A void, cold and unyielding, crept within my royal flesh, whispering the grim truth of my mortality. How had such realization dawn upon me? It was not through understanding, for knowledge eluded me; it was a feeling—a premonition of an end that wrested from me all semblance of dominion. I stood alone, as I had in life, now in the shadow of death's embrace. My power, once unassailable, held no sway over this fate. My strength, a mere memory; my cunning, rendered futile; and my magic, a dormant force that stirred not in my need. There, before the gaping maw of oblivion, I knelt, my sword—a steadfast companion—my sole comfort as the eternal slumber beckoned. My limbs were betraying me, their vigor lost to the encroaching frost. My grip faltered, the hilt of my blade slipping from weakening hands. Darkness veiled my sight, its inexorable tide engulfing me, offering no quarter, no hope of retreat. My last thought were only how quaint the instruments of my undoing were—a youth, an enfeebled sorcerer, and the cursed relic of my lineage. Such a trifling coalition, I would have scorned in days of yore, yet it was they who heralded my fall. And what about the legacy I was leaving behind that moment? Might it all collapse? This last ponderance lingered as I crossed the threshold into the unknown. Holy Shadows, it seemed that I might be reborn with already deep-seated regret and disgrace. I wished to end it quick.
