Reading is just a hobby of mine, so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Yup. Slowly but surely.
It’s peak fiction. The author has done an incredible job of integrating the already existing characters into their story. They’ve perfectly captured Misogi’s sarcastic pessimism and his uncanny knack for “Bringing out the worst in people.”; along with Kiyotaka’s calculated habit of shaping his internal monologues to make him think like a normal person. I’ll say it again; the story is well-written, well-structured, and well-interpreted peak fiction.
This sequence is a flashback showing us Callian’s past, way back when he was a teen in the old timeline.
I agree, and that’s literally what I’m doing in mine, but there’s nothing wrong with time-skipping to canon as long as it’s done correctly and doesn’t feel too much like a plot convenience.
You could potentially have him do both; teleport somewhere and Timeskip, maybe stuck in a cocoon like Viktor was during his fusion with the hex-core, and thereby still ageing up. But, whatever you decide upon, I’d cross Demacia off the list. We all want to see more magic be used, so having Orion hop from one magic-hating country to another is counterproductive to his development as he’d need to keep hiding his abilities, which would likely end up hindering what could’ve been achieved elsewhere.
It’s true, I did my own research on the place and came to the same conclusion, but I accidentally wrote right past the opportunity to mention them however, so I ended up cooking myself in that regard.
You’re onto the hard part now my friend, altering the original story so much is a steep slope to climb - especially for newer writers.
I was being deadass when I said slow you updates down, I need to support the smaller creators too 🙏
You’re gonna have to slow down the updates my friend, I don’t have the stones saved for this.
