This story was written well. Although, there were a few instances where commas were used too much in just 1 sentence. I suggest using either an em dash (—) or parentheses when there's an added thought or phrase to a complete sentence. Nonetheless, storytelling is clear and engrossing. I especially like how the author describes a character's physical features, an object's characteristics, and the worldbuilding.
