the first paragraph of the book already catches your attention. Then slowly introduces the main character, Constantine and his fight against mages. The sense of mystery especially in the first few chapters where things are being introduce really keeps you wondering and thinking. The details are fed to you bit by bit and not a through a sudden info dump. Personally, I like the way the author is able to pass across information to the reader without making it very obvious. The information just seems to blend in with the story. The updating schedule is also consistent. For me, this book has become a guide to sharpen my writing skills which is I so need.
