Hopefully soon, I've been working on it but my job has been hectic ATM meaning time has been sparse to write, rewrite, proofread and post. I'm still working on it all though so don't worry. I'll try and get the next chapter out at the end of this week, beginning of next week :)

Just a note, I havent stopped writing, just writing advance chapters and such to stockpile in the future. This chapter was released just to get the next volume underway and set the tone. I still have some planning to do overall :S When i have a decent stock of chapters, I will start to release (hopefully daily) again for a while.

when i finish this one, I plan on maybe doing it a final time from scratch, utilising the core elements i had in place. following the 'a wizard (something)' I'd make another called A wizard called Oz. that's in the far future though

Obligatory Author Review: As of writing two volumes, i've been happy so far with the direction im going. There are some slow parts I will admit, hence the rating from myself is not perfect, im aware there are parts I need to finetune. He's the owner of an established broom buisness in europe that has a monopoly over Europe fully (Explained in previous chapters). People will recognise him as they did in the pub. Gregoravich travels and would know of him naturally :)

To weigh in on this, I havent planned a romance partner yet especially considering the MC's current disposition and demeanour. However, that floor will open up in the next volume after this one finishes soon. I'd love to hear ideas for who should be his romance partner. Nothing creepy though, as his mental age is older so his tastes will definetly be older...

8 at the start, 2 years captive makes 10 and then his birthday hits here making him 11 (but a year behind harry as he turned 11 during schools term) I'm pretty sure I got this right in writing, I'f i said he was any older at any point those are mistakes i need to correct 😅

Not quite yet, considering where I plan on making the story head a love interest will probably not appear for a while. However, Axel will eventually need somebody to lean on. Especially after everything hes gone/going to go through.

I agree dont worry, Im not as boring as to have the MC have a sword. This is more just to show the uniqueness of this man and whatever 'clan' hes in :)

I understand what your saying, a trope is still a trope after all. I can't spoil too much on what's planned but whats goin to happen, the process of it, isn't necessarily going to be the thing that gains him power. Rather, the MC will need some wit ability and memory to break through.that being said you make a good point. I'll keep that in mind for the future

Unfortunately thats just how this novel is, I added the dark tag for a reason my friend. Regardless, with great misery brings great growth and a meaningful growth at that. If someone is broken down over and over, as long as they have the will to piece themselves back together again, they come out stronger. And thats the forefront of this story, the main driving focus of it. Hence the power displayed later on is earned, not cheated through a gift from god or a system, which is why it also has the nocheats tag :)
