Hello all! This is my first fanfiction and would love to hear your thoughts on it! I hope you enjoy it my friends! I’m aware it may seem presumptuous of me to rate it so highly but I genuinely feel it is this good, hopefully you guys feel the same!

Don’t quote me on this because I could be wrong but I always took it that the ‘trace’ was really just the statute of secrecy because you can’t cast magic on or around muggles if you are underaged remember second year when Dobby Cast magic at the Dursleys? Notice how Harry still got a warning from the ministry for this even though it wasn’t him who cast and it wasn’t magic cast by his wand? I’d assume that the trace is just the statute of secrecy preventing underage witches and wizards from performing magic in front of muffles and breaking the statute hope this helped!
