While the grammar is consistent, it is unstable enough that it is meaningless to admit its consistency. Backgrounds and characters are very decently thought out, it is just that the execution of the story writing itself prevents one from fully being engaged with them. The first impression that this novel gives was that it was going to delve into the gritty life of a mob boss, but that is not the case. The story is more centered around the romantic life of the FL, which does make sense since considering the title and the genre, but in this way it is only innovative in the characters and POV of this romance story. Because there seem to be no stakes in the "mafia-centric" portions, the mafia aspect of the novel appears to be decoration to a fiesty FL's fall into romance. I do find the FL to be very appealing and strong in her own way that is not like the traditional "strong woman" archetype. Instead of simply doing a man's job while proclaiming herself to be a woman, Bella does what she damn wants and carries an intoxicating sense of femininity as she does it, redefining femininity as a whole in the process. It's a good idea for a novel, but it is simply not cohesive. It is difficult to determine whether the author should focus on story building or writing quality first to elevate their work. There are high hopes for this novel.
bro is gonna wake up to a full-on war
battle scars!
retract my previous commentary: you're young and hot, Ryoko, tear this little kid up!
Uh, fondling might not be the best choice of word here....unless he really is fondling...
This entire sentence is so funny to me for no reason ahahahahaha!
hm, it's not unrealistic for women to be afraid when the masculinity of men has always been worshiped and advertised (as I assume that this world takes after ours)...rather, Ryoko could have educated Desdemona instead of tearing her down for thinking like the average woman. I wonder if Ryoko is for women, or for herself who just happens to be a woman? Either way, she is intriguing.
first thought: adopted?
chill bro
Between the exaggerated dialogue and the sarcastic flairs of the MCs, this is quite taxing to read. There is a lot of emotional outrage going on without much resolution for it. As much as I am intrigued by the story, I can't help but take a break every few paragraphs. In any case, I am still intrigued.
wait this is really funny reading about Bella and then seeing her actions through Leon's eyes
