Ohhhh. Well, since the Gold Hoarders are a company, it would make sense to introduce crews from other companies. I've already hinted that, I'll just change some stuff to ease in introduction of side characters.

If its the names, yeah. The mc and his crew introduce themselves with their actual names. But the Gold Hoarders used their in-game names. Which are joke names.
