I got to chapter 79 and came to the comments to give me a reason to continue. unfortunately i will be dropping this. To me the biggest issue is the tone of the writing. it's upbeat and casual about sensitive things like slavery and such. Also, the author tries a little too hard with the goat's motherly love and such. When you add in the weird decision and narcissism of the MC, the whole just doesn't click 🤷🏿‍♂️
