Definitely Lord of Mysteries, though I assume you read that already. Lord of Prayer is similar to that, so it could be good too. Last week’s new novels were good so you could check if any of them interest you as well.
Mate, this is a 3 year old comment on a paragraph that no longer exists. How could you possibly know if the original mentioned tee or coffee? I surely don’t!
Great novel, good research was likely put into the design. The character seems not to have any glaring problems and updates are stable. The biggest problem is with the prose - or rather the complete and utter lack of it. In conventional literature, the approach taken by the author would definitely not be considered conventional. The author’s style, to use direct descriptions accompanied by constant micro-time-skips + info dumping, is correspondent with someone indoctrinated to write academic essays, not one accustomed to writing fiction. (Even if historical)
The only original thing about this story are the names and the “cheat”, otherwise it is basically a carbon copy of every other story in its niche.
Which reality do you come from to have 20 billion humans on earth? 8,229,915,162 is the number cited as the population in 2025, how could there be 20 billion in 2024?
*and -> is. Also, I of take back my opinion: It is good for a decent part, but at least 10% must be skipped, and the last chapter is not satisfying.
Ruler beyond the ice and quite good.
47th chapter and he is still disabled, but I don’t feel it has that much of an impact on the story - he can still walk, ride etc. He just can’t fight (though he does try) or run. If you are indeed unable to read about such a disabled MC, you should drop the story. (There were some hints at healing but the vibe of asoiaf and the book both imply no miraculous healing.) Spoiler: He can still ride Vermithor to war with the Lorathi-Ibenese alliance, so the shards aren’t that disabling.
Quite good for WebNovel standards, the story is decently logical, the character seems different from all the other MC’s you’d find on this site, and the characters of Fire and Blood are portrayed within the realm of possibility. (Or rather my suspension of disbelief is able to cope) Though the author has an annoying habbit of writing un-translated High Valyrian.
It would be more appropriate to say that I asked why would you comment specifically under my comment and not just make an independent one criticising the authors choice. Also, I would appreciate if you didn’t immediately proceed to insulting my intelligence.
