So, yeh, I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying. As stated, the characters from the series are there alongside some oc's. There is nothing wrong with following the original plot, but after reading 100 times, it becomes boring. Fanfiction can do more than just copy.

Rescinding my previous comment since it didn't convey my meaning the way I wanted it to. Essentially, I was trying to say that you are limiting what a fanfiction can be with that statement. IMO, the best fanfictions are the ones that utilize baseline loresets and rulesets to explore their creativity, like a dnd session within an established world. Hope that makes more sense than my previous dull comment.

I'm with you on that. Was just trying to be humorous. I didn't really consider that aspect of Rias while focusing on setting up Ken’s recognition of the supernatural aspects of the world. I chose her because I couldn't think of another Canon character that would make more sense in that location and time. To put things in perspective, the prefecture is on the south side of tokyo and just west of where Kuoh is speculated to be. Overall, though, should be an easy fix.
