the rewrite has been pretty decent, but honestly, the mc feels like he's been nerfed heavily and feels pretty underpowered to me, and why hasn't he learned BASIC mage-craft spells like hypnosis or even practice much mage-craft, it has been just physical training which is pretty boring.

idk I always feel like the mc is heavily nerfed, and honestly, why can't he just practice with the weapons he is not good with and just get decent in using them, you make it look like no matter what he do he will never be able to even use them just properly unless he buys the perk.
It's not that I'm incapable of wielding ranged weapons, but there will be a peculiar mental resistance I have to deal with and virtually no Perk benefits to rely on, at least until I feel I have enough AP to spare which realistically will only occur on the rarest of ocassions.
