He probably can but the curse isn't debilitating to Durrak and he wants him to learn why and how his decision was stupid, so he is biding his time.
Most of it went over the heads of the Nord trio but Durrak understood exactly what I was talking about. The enthusiastic orc enjoyed his strength and power but the constant bloodlust and aggressive instincts that went further than even his race's did seem to grate on him constantly.
