I want to preface this review by saying, I don't like this book. is it a bad book? no, it's actually pretty good. Writing quality is really good, with very few errors, is give it a 4.5 just because I think the author could have done some much more investing things with the system and character. The MC is immortal, so why not use that as a story device to create drama and character development. instead the first time it's used, the only reason was so the author could drop the current arc and move on. The MC didn't even change after losing everyone he cared about, again! these reasons are also why I give story development a 3, I just think the author could have been much more creative with everything, instead, we got a generic Weak to stong with a slightly different way of cultivation, but not really because they author goes and adds normal generic cultivating, and the system becomes a glorified store. But 5 for world development, pretty good.

This is my first review after reading the 9 chapters that are currently up. writing quality: 4.5: The writing has some minor errors, but they're not that bad, just enough to notice but not affect the reading experience. story development: 4.0: I give it a 4 because the premise is promising but it's too early to see if it will turn out good, so far, pretty good. world background: 4.5: I'm really into dark fantasy, you know, demons, vampires and all that stuff, so this seems right up that ally. character design:4.5: the title says it all. updating stability: 4.0: too early to tell if we will get 9 chapters a week, like the author says.

The author did off hand-ly, in the first couple chapters, the author explained that Mc had photographic memory and was interested in the past and its technology, thus it is not a stretch to say he just happened to learned about an printing press one day.

question, is it right to label it as an "evil" because it is not acceptable by today's standards? This book is set in the 1400s, and if im not mistaken, concubines were quite common. I don't think you can openly trash a book for being historically accurate. You have a right to your own opinion, but please don't trash someone else's work and ruin it for other people just because you don't agree with it. Thank you -one frosty fox
