The downturn is people are impatient for chapters. They expect one at a unheslthy rate and authors in turn produce little to no thought out chapters and are winging it. I think having chapters ahead of the current ones you put out is healthier but people don’t like the wait. Regardless if that is it or not I couldn’t tell you the most I can do is say to keep putting in the work and getting better

I agree but that’s not what the main concern should be as a author. Webnovel isn’t permanent it’s somewhere to hone your skill and get better I see way to many authors with good stories drop it because the views aren’t highly up or anything and just drop it. Nobody gets to where they are caring about that. You have a great story, character and it’s moving solid. Keep it up and don’t get discouraged

Honestly if the numbers are what you’re writing for then it’s really no point to keep writing. Peaks and slumps happen man but if that’s all you look at then there’s no point in really pushing out more chapters. It’s a good story and you have a audience that wants to read it.
