I’ve liked the majority of your story so far but this is just lazy. A simple google search will reveal that ancient Egypt had fallen almost a millennia prior and by that point was already under Arab rule. Not to mention the 600 years they spent under Rome. By this point Egyptian paganism had thoroughly died out.
