Forgot to put it, but the main reason for the 4 star is because of the upload instability, I'm 5 months without reading it and there aren't that many chapters (I can probably read all of it in 2 days or less), but if you're starting it, don't worry about it
If you are a returning reader like me, you might remember taking a hiatus due to the wildly inconsistent update schedule. There were periods of silence followed by sudden chapter dumps that made it hard to follow. However, for those starting now, the novel is officially completed, and the translation on sites like JadeScrolls is fully finished, so you can binge-read without worrying about "translation foul" or missing updates. The most important thing to understand is that this is not a traditional romance novel. While it has a harem tag, the romance is a slow-burn subplot where the female leads often harbor one-sided obsessions with the protagonist. If you start this hoping for a mutual love story where the MC reciprocates every girl's feelings, you will be disappointed. In the grand scheme of the world-ending plot, the romantic scenes are minor flavor rather than the driving force. The world-building is actually quite complex, blending an otome game setting with a dark, high-difficulty MMO framework. The protagonist, Baek Yuseol, is a "gaming masochist" who chose the weakest character possible—a mage with Mana Leakage Syndrome who can only use the skill "Blink". His evolution from a survival-focused player into a competent, charismatic leader is one of the story's highlights. He isn't an idiot; he is tactical and uses his deep game knowledge to compensate for his lack of traditional mana. The character development is where my review gets a bit rough. While the MC and secondary characters evolve in power and mentality, the author tends to isolate the MC during the most critical challenges. By the time you reach the later stages (around chapter 464), the heroines—like Hong Biyeon and Flame—feel less relevant to the MC’s immediate POV in combat. He often operates as a "lone wolf," taking on Class 9 or 10 threats solo, which makes the growth of the heroines feel sidelined despite their interesting personalities. The translation is okay, the main problem being the inconsistency in the names of the characters through the history, I can't say for sure if this is fixed now, but when I read it the names of some characters changed some times. Final Verdict Magic Academy’s Genius Blinker is a very good, though not perfect, read. It succeeds because the MC is genuinely competent and the heroines have distinct personalities rather than being generic "hindrances". If you enjoy an underdog story where mechanical skill beats raw power, you’ll find this very enjoyable. Just be prepared for a protagonist who stays focused on the mission over his social circle.
Well, if we think about it, after recovering his Divine Body, there was that thing that gods don't have emotions/only cares about rational things or something like that right?
Honestly, it's really frustrating when I click to see a comment and it's just a random GIF meme. For other books, comments are usually normal, but on this one, the comment section feels like a meme page most of the time. (It's just my opinion)
Bro, I got a feeling that the fourth elder will do something here. He can't stop the mission of the scroll because it would be good for his candidate too, so his best option should just kill Leo right here
Poor man, going toward his own death
They had been receiving attacks from the cult for years now, I just think they became extremely cautious after that
I really like the way the author is developing Leo, a few dozens of chapters ago, Leo was a machine, a killer one, on top of everything, every move was made with objective and we can say that a lot of it is because of Monarch Indifference, but now, Leo getting his emotions back, he is way more balanced, the way he talk, the way he think, now he is more like a human in my opnion at least.
o/ After 1.5 weeks reading both this and the last book I reached it, what a beautiful journey, thanks author
Tbh it is a bit unrealistic thinking that they would just give that for him, also, it would reveal his connection with the cult, because only a cultilt would want that scroll (considering just for the person not an entire organization)
